Oh boy, this was a tough morning for me.
I quickly turned into the President of Bad Attitude Productions.

The final hour came that I must relinquish my Rhode Island drivers license or drive with an expired, invalid license and certainly not be able to rent a car.

Even tho I was at the NYC, DMV License Express office which most people say is a ‘just fine experience’ I feel the exact opposite.

When I asked to have my RI license back the woman said, ”No. You don’t get your license back. That’s how we do it in New York.”

“Even tho it expires in less then two months?” “Yup, we keep it.” She STAPLED it to the ‘application’ and said, “That will be $67. Any other questions?”

OH, and the picture taking process…” Awful.

“Sign this (small) form. Within the box. Back up and stand against the wall. Look at the blue dot and smile.”

No mirror. Nothing to look into. After one snap I asked to see the picture. “Oh no. We dont do that. You’ll see it in about two weeks time when the license comes in the mail. If you don’t like it, we’ll do it over once at no fee.”

Real efficient? Wouldn’t ya say 😡🤬🥴😤🤨🥺😢🥵
