Recently, I realized that when someone asks me "How are you?" and "What have you been up to?", I overwhelm them with the amount of work I have on my plate. As I heard myself speaking, I made a gentle reminder, that I am more than my work or what I am doing. In addition, it's okay to say how I feel without attaching it to work.
It's not clear why this happens, but as a business owner, you can quickly fall into a category where your worth is based on how much you do.
There is no doubt in my mind that I am worth more than my work, whether or not I have it. Now I pass it onto you, self-worth and work are unrelated! Make time for you and to work on yourself as well.❤️🙏🏽

In addition to their ornamental value, monsteras plants are prized for their beauty. Additionally, they bear a great deal of meaning, symbolism, as well as historical significance. In the language of flowers, monstera plants and flowers represent grandiose plans, glad tidings, and deep relationships.
Upon contacting me and discussing her needs, this client made a decision as to what she wanted for her special day. Neither of us ever mentioned monsteras.
When creating, I rely on my innate feelings and the words of my clients. By choosing what feels right, alignment came forth for this special union.
Monsteras was one thing she hadn't even realized she wanted! Her affinity for them developed throughout the pandemic and she has been growing them ever since. Who knew they would find their way to her on her wedding day🌿 Divinely aligned✨️

Gifting flowers is one of the most underrated gift options. Why is that?
Fresh flowers are readily available at grocery stores, making it nearly as convenient as buying milk. To me, it is similar to selecting a wine bottle, whether you buy it at the grocery store or a florist, based on the person you are gifting.
Ask your florist questions and consider the colors that fit the person's personality. When considering shapes, think about their home. Are they the wild garden bouquet? Or, the compact and low type of person 🤔.

I can not express to you how many times, as a florist, I struggled with handing over a bouquet to a client that I had fallen in love with. It's definitely my toxic trait🤣.
There is nothing more rewarding than working with the most amazing blooms and a palette you have always dreamt of. Obviously, I can make it over, but there's nothing like the first time...lol👀✨️. Even so, it's always satisfying to know your client is just as enamored with it as you are.

You might be surprised to know that women tend to buy more flowers than men, making up 65 percent of all fresh flower transactions.
Flowers can be purchased online quickly from the big companies, but when was the last time you visited a flower shop or reached out to a florist based online, that is
not a big conglomerate? Do you know a flower shop near you? Did you know because of covid many florist are now based online?

This past week was nothing short of amazing! I attended the first annual conference! 
Atlanta owes me nothing! I had the chance to fellowship with other amazing florists as myself in every career stage! New and old to the business.
In awe of these ladies, they don't even know how much they have encouraged and poured into me. They have given me more energy to apply to my fire in my Floral Design career!
We laughed, we cried, and we shared and we LAUGHED. I would say I needed this earlier in my years but I am an avid believer that nothing comes before it's time❤️
