Jesse Reing has over ten years of experience in the hospitality and event industry. Born, raised, and bat-mitzvahed in Westchester County. From a young age, Jesse knew her purpose in life was to help people realize their vision for their most important occasions. Her creativity, precision, and passion for bespoke service set her apart from her industry peers. After graduating from Binghamton University, Jesse actualized her purpose by earning an MBA in Hotel Management from University Center Cesar Ritz, an internationally renowned hotel school in Switzerland. Jesse returned to NYC and worked in catering and events for Manhattan luxury hotels; Jesse began planting the seeds for what would soon become ‘Events by Jesse.’ By attending the Institute of Culinary Education and obtaining a diploma in Pastry and Baking Arts and Culinary Management, Jesse gained a heightened level of expertise that would allow her to relate to all elements of event planning. Other highlights of Jesse’s career include managing Michelin Star restaurants, leading the catering team for the President of FIT, and acting as the catering director for NYC’s largest independently owned cafe brand, FIKA. Given her unique experience in client services and her previous work as a vendor, she seamlessly navigates her clients’ wants and needs through the event planning trifecta — catering, entertainment, and design/decor.

Part of our approach is getting to know your wedding day must-have expectations, which we build into the timeline to ensure you can do everything you want. Once we finalize the timeline together, you’ll feel confident that all your wishes can be accommodated.

Today feels like the perfect moment to reflect on something deeply important to me: uplifting women in the wedding industry.

This journey began years ago when I discovered event planning while organizing cast parties for theater groups in university. Even though it wasn’t considered a lucrative career back in 2005, I knew I had found my calling. My path took me to Switzerland for my MBA in hotel and tourism management, where I gained invaluable cultural perspective from students and teachers representing over 50 countries.

After returning to New York, I built a career in luxury hospitality before launching Events By Jesse. Through every experience the inspiring and the challenging , I gathered lessons that shaped my approach to business and service excellence.

What makes me most proud isn’t just creating magical days for our brides, but supporting the incredible community of female vendors we collaborate with daily. In this industry, I firmly believe we are NOT competitors – we are collaborators. There’s room for all of us to succeed and create something beautiful together. We shine brightest when we stay in our own lane while enthusiastically supporting other women’s shine! When one of us succeeds, we all succeed.
