Renee Obringer and Thomas Just were married May 18, 2024. The couple chose the lovely Granville Inn as the setting for their ceremony and reception and the day was perfect from beginning to end! Renee and Thomas were surrounded by 100 of their closest friends and family...and the love everyone had for these two was palpable!

Stephanie Jones did a phenomenal job serving as the couple's officiant. She combined just the right mix of heart, humor and soul. There were lots of eyes leaking!

Butcher and Company Photography were an amazing team as photographers for the day! Renee and Thomas were incredibly thoughtful and thorough while planning family group photographs. Between the couple's planning, and the photographer's guidance, every single photo was completed in record time and turned out great! Which... by the way...is no small undertaking!

DJ Steve Ransom, of Night Music, was outstanding in his role as Master of Ceremonies, music maker, and let's get them dancing guru. While the guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers and and listened to Steve's musical selections, Renee and Thomas actually had time to slip away for a private toast as a new Mr. and Mrs. (I love it when this quiet deeply personal time can happen....such a special moment!)

The guests then transferred to the grand ballroom for dinner. As usual, The Granville Inn staff was wonderful and the meals were scrumptious. Following dinner, the guests enjoyed an array of desserts provided by The Pastry Bar. To say the desserts were a hit is the understatement....there was not one crumb left!

Special thanks goes to the gifted florist, Julie Miltimore, of Foraged 774. Julie worked her magic with florals throughout the Inn and with Renee's gorgeous bouquet. Stunning was the word of the day!

Extra Special thanks to caricature artist, Kurt Dreier. Kurt worked through cocktail hour, the dinner hour, and stayed an extra hour to make sure everyone who wanted their caricature drawn received one. Kurt was a perfect addition to the couple's day!

Finally, my deepest gratitude goes to Renee and Thomas for choosing me to be your wedding helper. You were a joy to work with in the months leading up to May 18th. Your focus, humor, flexibility, and thoughtful planning were a gift. The day was perfect for you, your families and friends because you both communicated clearly to me what your vision for the day was. I am thankful for the trust you placed in me to coordinate multiple moving targets! 😁 I wish you both a lifetime of blessings, happiness, love...and a second honeymoon in Croatia!

Happy 1st Anniversary to this special duo! Love you mucho Nicholas and Madison Lee. ❤❤

November 18, 2023 was a beautiful and joyful wedding day for Emily Carte and Jacob Stewart.
The couple chose the lovely Bryn Du Mansion property for their love filled, joyful celebration. They were surrounded by 175 of their closest friends and family as they started their married life together.
This DYI bride and her family created every centerpiece, luminary, lighting effect, floral bouquet, and boutonniere. Their hours of planning and preparation came together and created a simply stunning setting.
The couple lovingly chose Emily's grandfather, Larry Bales, as their officiant. He clearly drew from 60 years of marriage with his wife, Jean, to create the most touching ceremony. I am 99.9% certain there as not a dry among the guests or the wedding party...it was THAT special.
Catering by Scott and their wonderful crew, did a phenomenal job from the time they arrived, until they pulled out of the parking lot. They provided appetizers for the cocktail hour, a fabulous buffet dinner, a plethora of yummy desserts, and late night pizza! No one left hungry...or thirsty.😁
DJ Austin Ellington of New Image Studios did an excellent job of keeping the festivities going, and the party rolling....and that party was definitely rolling!
Special thanks goes to photographers Melanie and Alex and Videographer, Steve Polland of New Image Studios for the great photos and being a joy to work with.
Finally, thank you for Emily and Jacob, and your parents, D.J. and Lisa Carte along with Brian and Dot Stewart, for trusting me to be your Wedding Helper. I wish you both all the happiness your hearts an hold...forever.

October 8, 2023 was the date Krystal Swanson and Matt Weiss chose to be married at the stunning Lavender Ridge Farm.
This wedding had all the elements of a delightful, exuberant filled day! I can honestly describe bride, Krystal, as joy in tennis shoes (gold sequined Kate Spade no less). The groom, Matt, can be described as an extremely bright, focused, deep thinker... unless he is with his bride...then he is clearly deeply in love.

Matt and Krystal did not want a "typical" wedding, and their Sunday brunch vision (complete with food trucks!) was perfect! Krystal made sure there were loads of personal touches through out the venue. She created the beautiful wooden floral center pieces placed on the guest tables. She made all the signage and labeled every single coffee cup for each guest to take home. She is quite frankly a crafter extraordinaire!

Columbus Coffee Truck was available for guests when they arrived. Lavender Ridge Farm was the perfect setting for the guests to enjoy autumn's glorious beauty which surrounded them.

The entire wedding party looked simply stunning (I mean can we talk about that bridal gown??). To top it off, the bridal procession included Krystal's grandmother, Bernie, as the sweetest flower granny I have ever seen! Officiant, Mary Alice Miller, lead a deeply personal ceremony with just the right dash of humor.

Following the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a variety of refreshments, as well as a buffet featuring Panera goodies and yogurt fruit cups made by the bride in her "spare time." The main attraction was Broke Johnny's food truck, which served up loads of ahhhmazing breakfast delights.

Live painter, Keith 'Von" Hasenbalg, entertained the guests as he created a gorgeous painting of the bride and groom at the ceremony site. There were loads of yard games for the guests to enjoy so they didn't feel "stuck" in their seats. The unprofessional DJ (yours truly) assisted in keeping the afternoon moving along.

Special thanks goes to: Kris and Jennifer Daniels of Lavender Ridge Farm for being flexible and 100% delightful from beginning to end. Additional thanks goes to photographer, Hannah Anthony, for the beautiful photos, and being a gift to work beside all day.

Finally, a huge dose of gratitude goes to the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Matt and Krystal Weiss for trusting me to be your wedding helper. I wish you a multitude of happy years and all the blessings your hearts can hold.

September 30, 2023 was a gorgeous wedding day for Brandy Dennis and Nathan Breece!

Brandy and Nathan chose the beautiful formal garden of Bryn Du mansion as the spot to recite their vows in front of their very closest friends and family. Nathan's brother, Tyler Breece served as officiant for the extra personal, and especially touching ceremony.
It was clear to me everyone attending was invested in Nathan and Brandy's future happiness. Joy filled the day from beginning to end!

The stately Bryn Du mansion served as a lovely setting for a very "happy" hour and delicious dinner. Carfagna's Catering did an exceptional job throughout the day and into the evening. Julie Miltimore and her sweet assistant, Kim, of Foraged 774 worked stunning magic with florals both for the bridal party and the Mansion.
Phil Nagy, DJ extraordinaire, was a phenom all.day.long. He played his acoustical guitar for the guests as they were seated, managed to run to the Mansion and set up music for the happy hour, and then had everyone (and I do mean everyone) dancing under the stars on the front portico of the Mansion until send off time!

I must give a huge shout out to Painter Lydia Wickham who painted the wedding ceremony as it was happening, and added the fine details during the reception. Not only was she 100% delightful, but she is an extremely talented artist. The "almost" finished painting was breathtakingly lifelike!

Additional loads of praise goes to Caroline Stiers and her wonderful team from Asteria Photography. They were quite simply, joy with cameras, all day. I am incredibly grateful for their humor, patience, and ability to "think outside the proverbial wedding box."

Finally, thank you to Brandy and Nathan for choosing me to be your Wedding Helper. I wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and Maker's Mark toasts!

Nate Hrusovsky and Abby Stone July 29, 2023.

Full disclosure...this post is tardy and has been tough to write. This Wedding Helper has had an amazing year thus far. I helped coordinate weddings for couples who I was close to for one reason or another. Each of those weddings now hold a special place in my heart. Then I met the Stone family. Have you ever met someone for the first time, and they made you feel like you had known them forever? Bride Abby Stone and her entire family are those people. It was crystal clear to me, the first time I met Groom Nate Hrusovsky, he and Abby were a perfect match. Nate's love for Abby was evident from the moment I met him. Seriously...he could not stop kissing her cheeks! Thus, the Stone- Hrusovsky wedding now holds a large chunk of my heart.

The beautiful Bryn du Mansion front portico, was the setting for Abby and Nate's wedding. Abby's brother, Jake Stone (aka the Rev), officiated the moving and heartfelt ceremony with just the right dash of humor! Handkerchiefs sure came in handy during this ceremony!

Following the ceremony, the guests were welcomed inside the Mansion. They were surrounded by stunning florals created by Julie Miltimore and her team at Foraged 774. Berwick Catering provided appetizers, refreshments, as well as a phenomenal buffet for dinner. The florals, the food, and the wedding cake baked by a close friend of the bride, were all perfection. Add in a series of toasts, spoken from the heart ,as well as the funny bone; all combined made for one wonderful love fest of a celebration.

DJ Ryan Smith masterfully provided romantic ceremony and dinner music. When the thunderstorms which had been forecast...all week long... missed Granville, Ryan (with the help of a few good men) magically moved the dance party from inside the Mansion to outside the Mansion. All of which was done in record time. (you had to see it to believe it!) The sky was the gorgeous, the temperature could not have been more perfect, the guests vibe was beyond joyful...AND there was a triple rainbow!!! This was the stuff dreams are made of!

Thanks go to Bruce Cramer, Athena Koehler and the Bryn Du Staff for their patience, especially during the uncertain weather questions the week of the wedding.

Extra special thanks to photographer Sonya Ewing of Sonya Ewing Photography and Videographer Sarah Hudson of Sarah Hudson Media. Not only were they a joy to work with all day, but they both put up with a "few" decision pivots with a smile. Both are gifted at their craft, and they managed to capture the couples love exquisitely.

Finally, thank you to Abby, Nate and the entire Stone family for trusting me to be your Wedding Helper. During the span of a few weeks, it was an immense blessing to help create memories with a phenomenal family. I will treasure that gift for a lifetime.

Thank you Sarah Hudson Media! Introducing Nate and Abby Hrusovsky! 7-29-23.

June 22, 2023, was wedding day for Abigail Stevenson and Jadon Montgomery. Abby and Jadon chose the beautiful Bryn Du Mansion Estate to begin their married life together.

Julie Miltimore of Foraged 774 created beautiful bouquets, and boutonnieres for the wedding party, parents, and grandparents. She also worked her magic with a gorgeous floral covering for the wedding arch. Julie's magical gift with florals made a beautiful setting absolutely stunning.

Surrounded by 100 of their closest friends and family, the lovely terrace of the Bryn Du Fieldhouse was the setting for the faith filled wedding ceremony. The officiant, Aaron Fourman, had watched Abby and Jadon's relationship grow over years as their youth Pastor. As a result, he conducted a deeply personal service, that truly defined everything Abby and Jadon represented.

Following the ceremony, the guests were treated to appetizers and dinner catered by Enselmo and the wonderful staff of Day Y Noche.
A coffee bar catered by Branson Moody and the delightful staff of Vinyl Coffee was an absolutely delightful (and delicious!) bonus for all. Nothing Bundt Cakes created an array of perfect Bundtinis to finish off the feast.

DJ Dave Stephens of Stephens Audio kept the day moving seamlessly and the crowd movin, groovin, (and twirlin) when the party started.

Extra special thanks goes to Madilyn Rusin of Madilyn Runsin Photography for her excellent skills with a camera (or 3) as well as being an absolute joy to spend the day with. Madilyn's contact information is found under each of the photos in this blog. .

Finally, thank you for Abby and Jadon for being the epitome of joy as you begin married life together. I wish you a lifetime of the same joy you shared on July 22, 2023.

Sunday June 4, 2023. Kalee Collins and Will Zimmerman were married at the beautiful Beverly Mansion in Marengo, Ohio.

The bride and her wedding party spent the morning with a wonderful glam team of Maddy Warner, Erika Taft, Ciann Green, Haley Palmer, and Anne Girton. The results were magazine cover perfect.

Kalee and Will repeated their vows under a huge oak tree, with Pastor Paul Walters serving as the officiant. The weather was simply awesome, Will and Kaylee were surrounded by their dearest family and friends, and every part of their wedding day absolutely perfect.

The catering by Metro Cuisine was both professional and scrumptious. Hudson and Essex supplied the beautiful wedding cake and delicious cupcakes for all.

DJ, Derrick Morrison, was ahhhmazing (and incredibly patient) as the ceremony musician, MC for the reception, and knowing exactly what tunes to play to keep the guests moving! The man is simply put...phenomenal.

Special thanks goes out to Photographer, Taylor Price of T.Price Photography, her #1 assistant Keton Pfeifer, and Videographer Jill Bonilla of Magnolia Tree Media. They both worked with the couple (and me) for weeks prior to the wedding to make sure the couples vision was fulfilled and the day was documented perfectly. They were literally my dream team..

Finally, thank you to Kalee's sister, Jennifer Paul, who trusted me to be the Wedding Helper for these two sweethearts. It was a beautiful day filled with love, and it was a privilege to be a "small" part of it.
