Sometimes it takes me a moment (or a couple months) to find the words about certain couples. Liz Reeves and Craig Baker are one of those couples. We spent months together. We planned, we laughed, and we laughed some more. Sharing those months creating the vision they both envisioned for their wedding day was simply put...a gift.

Liz and Craig chose the stunning Granville Inn for their September 20, 2024 wedding and reception. The only thing brighter than the sun shining that day was the light reflecting off Liz and Craig when looked at each other. Love was definitely in the air!

Linnet's Flowers on the Square, Ltd created gorgeous florals for the wedding party, the ceremony site, and throughout the Inn. It was a vision to behold!

The couple's dear friend, Kenneth Munshower, officiated the deeply personal, love filled, ceremony with just the right dash of humor. I am honestly surprised he did not receive a standing ovation!

The phenomenally talented Krista Solars provided the music for the ceremony and the cocktail hour with her electric violin. Krista's skill and variety of musical choices made her the perfect match for Craig and Taylor Swift super fan, Liz.

The talented caricature artist, Kurt Dreier, entertained the guests once the ceremony ended, and remained for most of the evening. Kurt is never without a smile, and his personality and artistic talents were a huge hit with all attending.

The Granville Inn (which never disappoints) served scrumptious appetizers during cocktail hour as well as a luscious dinner. The wedding cake and dessert following dinner was provided by the Cheese Cake Girl. Cheesecake tacos? Yep, they had those! Cheese cake sundaes? Yep, they had those too! (and not a single morsel remained!

Derrick Morrison, of Movement DJ Service, had the guests on the dance floor as soon as dinner was finished, complete with glow in the dark rings, necklaces, and glasses. So much fun!

Finally, thank you to Liz and Craig, for the trust you placed in me to be your wedding helper. Sharing the journey helping your wedding visions come to life is gift I will treasure for many years to come. Getting to know your family and friends was a bonus! I wish you a lifetime of joy filled moments, long bike rides, great baseball games, and Taylor Swift concerts. May the love you share continue to be a light for all you meet.

Abigale Lyon and Caleb Kuamoo were married September 21, 2024.
The couple chose the beautiful Granville Inn as the setting for their stunning ceremony and reception and the day could not have been more perfect from beginning to end.

The couple's Pastor, Bob Thomas, officiated the faith filled and heartfelt ceremony. Each part of which was a perfect representation of Abby and Caleb...including a reading done by the bride's grandparents who had been married over 65 years!

Jamie of XOXO Florals & Wine made sure the couples floral dream came true for the wedding party and throughout the venue.

DJ Jeff Snow of JBK Mobile provided the perfect selections of music through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The man knows how to read a crowd....and respect the couples vision!

The table settings for dinner in the Grand Ballroom were absolutely some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The Bride had a vision, and made it come to life perfectly. It was truly magazine cover perfect!

After dinner, the couple led their family and friends to the Courtyard of the Granville Inn where there had their first...beautifully choreographed... dance. Desserts included a gorgeous cake and sweet cookies from OH Heavenly Bakes, all made with lots of love by the groom's sister! Additionally, the bride's mother made some super yummy baklava to represent the family's Greek heritage. THEN...the party really began! Fun was had by everyone of every age! Such a great memory of everyone in attendance!

Abby Hanson and Adam Johnson promised forever to one another on August 31, 2024. The lovely Bryn Du Mansion was the site for their wedding, and reception. Although storms threatened most of the day, the skies cleared before ceremony time and the day was simply their dream come true! Abby and Adam scattered personal mementos throughout as a tribute to their families. Their thoughtfulness touched everyone's heart.

Damian King of United Marriage Services was the officiant extraordinaire for this darling duo. The Marion Four provide gorgeous string music for both the ceremony and the reception.
The weather provided clear skies...but very hot temperatures...and these folks never even once seemed bothered by the heat.

Julie Miltimore of Foraged 774 shared her master florist skills though out the Bryn Du Mansion, the reception tent, and the bridal party flowers. Stunning is the only word I can come up with to describe Julie's gift with florals.

Carfagna's Catering provided an amazing spread of food for the reception. The dessert table filled with dozens of bundtini's was the perfect (and scrumptious) dinner follow up. Chris of Capitol City Sound kept the tunes going and the guests dancing until lights out!

Special thanks goes out to Ashley of Blooming Horizons Photography. Not only was she a joy to work with, but her photographs of Abby and Adam's wedding day are simply beautiful.

Additional thanks to Mike Yount who provided his gorgeous classic 55 Chevy to give the couple a ride home after the reception. What a gem of a guy...and a phenomenal car!

Finally, my deepest gratitude to Abby and Adam for trusting me to be your Wedding Helper. Life threw you both several curves leading up to your wedding day. That being said, you never once hesitated to meet with me, spend time on the phone, or brain storm ideas to make sure your vision came to life. You willingness to communicate...regardless of what life was throwing at you...was not only astounding, but deeply appreciated. I wish you both a lifetime of love and dreams come true. m.a.g.

Renee Obringer and Thomas Just were married May 18, 2024. The couple chose the lovely Granville Inn as the setting for their ceremony and reception and the day was perfect from beginning to end! Renee and Thomas were surrounded by 100 of their closest friends and family...and the love everyone had for these two was palpable!

Stephanie Jones did a phenomenal job serving as the couple's officiant. She combined just the right mix of heart, humor and soul. There were lots of eyes leaking!

Butcher and Company Photography were an amazing team as photographers for the day! Renee and Thomas were incredibly thoughtful and thorough while planning family group photographs. Between the couple's planning, and the photographer's guidance, every single photo was completed in record time and turned out great! Which... by the way...is no small undertaking!

DJ Steve Ransom, of Night Music, was outstanding in his role as Master of Ceremonies, music maker, and let's get them dancing guru. While the guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers and and listened to Steve's musical selections, Renee and Thomas actually had time to slip away for a private toast as a new Mr. and Mrs. (I love it when this quiet deeply personal time can happen....such a special moment!)

The guests then transferred to the grand ballroom for dinner. As usual, The Granville Inn staff was wonderful and the meals were scrumptious. Following dinner, the guests enjoyed an array of desserts provided by The Pastry Bar. To say the desserts were a hit is the understatement....there was not one crumb left!

Special thanks goes to the gifted florist, Julie Miltimore, of Foraged 774. Julie worked her magic with florals throughout the Inn and with Renee's gorgeous bouquet. Stunning was the word of the day!

Extra Special thanks to caricature artist, Kurt Dreier. Kurt worked through cocktail hour, the dinner hour, and stayed an extra hour to make sure everyone who wanted their caricature drawn received one. Kurt was a perfect addition to the couple's day!

Finally, my deepest gratitude goes to Renee and Thomas for choosing me to be your wedding helper. You were a joy to work with in the months leading up to May 18th. Your focus, humor, flexibility, and thoughtful planning were a gift. The day was perfect for you, your families and friends because you both communicated clearly to me what your vision for the day was. I am thankful for the trust you placed in me to coordinate multiple moving targets! 😁 I wish you both a lifetime of blessings, happiness, love...and a second honeymoon in Croatia!
