Twice The Spice Caterers: Honoring Memorial Day

Today May 27th, 2024, as we observe Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This day holds a profound significance as we reflect on the courage and dedication of all those who have served in the Armed Forces, especially the African Americans who fought often without the rights and recognition they so rightly deserved.

Throughout history, African Americans who served in the military have demonstrated unparalleled valor and resilience, fighting for freedoms and rights that were not always afforded to them. From the Buffalo Soldiers and the Tuskegee Airmen to those who served in more recent conflicts, their contributions have been pivotal in shaping our nation's history and ensuring the liberties we enjoy today. They fought with the hope that their sacrifices would pave the way for a more just and equal society.

On this Memorial Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all military women and men who have fought for our freedoms. Your sacrifices are not forgotten, and your legacy continues to inspire us in our ongoing pursuit of equality and justice.

As a mark of respect and to allow our members to reflect on this important day we are closed. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our shared mission. Let us honor the memory of those who have served by recommitting ourselves to the principles of freedom, diversity, equality, and justice for all.
