March 10, 2021 update: Yeah!! Beginning March 12, 2021, Yamhill County enters the MODERATE rank for Covid restrictions! Windrose has the following update on COVID restrictions for meetings and events: Indoors, a capacity of 25 people (my 'normal' is 50, so we are now at a 50% capacity). Outdoors we are at capacity of 70! So if you are thinking of having a grad party, anniversary, baby or bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, small wedding or elopement, or any kind of event outside, you can begin to plan and reserve a date. Smaller events of no more than 25 right now, such as business meetings, retreats, board meetings, etc. can be held inside. Give a call at 503-701-7273 to schedule a tour or reserve a date!

Covid update: Currently, Windrose is mandated to be closed until at least March 1, 2021. Windrose is in the business of bringing people together and we just can’t do that at this time. We are, and have been, taking all precautions to keep people safe, sanitizing all surfaces, wearing masks, and keeping our distance. I am fully supportive of this mandate as it would be devastating if someone were to get the virus from attending a meeting or event here at Windrose.
Projects are getting completed, new protocols in place, cleaning and painting updated, so things are looking good here!
I will keep you updated as things change as I am fully prepared to open as soon as the mandate is lifted. Hopefully this spring. Thank you for understanding and keep Windrose in mind for your late spring and summer events!

Meetings and events are alive and well at Windrose! Yes, they are downsized a bit and masks are required inside the Center, but outside in the 2 courtyards-6 feet apart and no masks. This is Camp Elso staff out of Portland doing a 1 day retreat. Beautiful weather in September and October so if you are looking for a place to have a meeting or a smaller event, give me a call! 503-701-7273.

Social distancing Giant Jenga at a Newberg High School grad party at Windrose today. Masks required inside and 6 foot distancing outside. Easy peasy!! Love this community for adhering to everyone’s health!!

As of yesterday, June 6, Yamhill County has now entered into Phase II of Oregon’s Pandemic Response. This means that Windrose will now be allowed to have up to a maximum of 50 people for outdoor events! All clients that were waiting for this to happen can now move forward with planning their celebrations! All precautions will be followed before, during, and after your event. I have plenty of soap and water for washing hands and hand sanitizer available.

Below are the procedures I am currently taking to keep your group safe while you are here at Windrose:
• Tables and seating will be 6 feet apart. Families may sit together. Extra chairs will be set out that will be 6 feet apart.
• Caterers will need to serve meals, no buffets or salad bars
• There will be one entrance and one exit with directional signage to reflect which way to go.
• I will have an infrared non-touch thermometer to take anyone’s temperature if desired
• Wearing of masks will be up to the group host
• Social distancing must be maintained. Please stand apart at least 6 feet while socializing and at the bar.

These protocols are determined by the State’s leaders and may change as time goes on. I will keep everyone posted.

At this time, I am still keeping indoor meetings, seminars at a maximum of 15 people.

Windrose will be re-opening for events and meetings on a small basis on May 15! Maximum of 25 people for outdoor events and 15 for indoor meetings and all precautions from the Phase I order from the State will be followed.

Below are the procedures I am currently taking to keep your group safe while you are here at Windrose:

• Based on Phase I re-opening I can have groups of 25 or less
• Phase II (in hopefully 3 weeks), I will be able to raise the number to 50
• Tables and seating will be 6 feet apart. Families may sit together. Extra chairs will be set out that will be 6 feet apart.
• Caterers will need to hand serve meals or have boxed lunches/dinners, no buffets or salad bars
• There will be one entrance and one exit with directional signage to reflect which way to go.
• I will have an infrared non-touch thermometer to take anyone’s temperature if desired
• Wearing of masks will be up to the group host
• Social distancing must be maintained. Please stand apart at least 6 feet while socializing and at the bar.

If you are having an event here and there is a family member/friend that is unable to attend, we are dialed in and ready to be able to ‘Zoom’ them in at some point to watch ceremonies, speeches, gift opening, etc. Just bring your laptop with Zoom app.

Hello all Windrose supporters! I want to announce that I am voluntarily and temporarily closing Windrose for a total of 6 weeks due to the coronavirus. I will reopen on April 24. Sooner if we can get a handle on this pandemic. I am spending this time cleaning, sanitizing, painting, sprucing up. Since I am a meeting and event space, the only responsible thing for me to do is to take this drastic step. All my meetings that were scheduled during this time have not cancelled, but postponed, so I am so grateful to them! If you are contemplating an eventual meeting or event coming up this late spring or summer, please consider doing business with Windrose because at that time, I will be craving having lots of people around! Beautiful and intimate wedding at Windrose last Friday. AC/DC wedding (initials of the bride and groom). 30 guests, completely private, scenic park-like setting for the ceremony. Reception held in the large brick courtyard with flowering jasmine and honeysuckle. Perfect evening!
