On a beautiful autumn Sunday afternoon a most beautiful bride married her prince charming in a magical rustic barn. Flowers were everywhere - creating a garden like setting of deep rich autumnal colors.

I was so blessed to have a small part in making their wedding day dreams come to life.

In October a most beautiful bride married her prince charming in a rustic barn - bathed in glorious sunshine and flowers everywhere. It was magical. We are so grateful to have played a small part in bringing her wedding day wishes to life.

Sometimes - you might draw attention to the beautiful and unique container but most often flowers are the focus. This gorgeous blue hydrangea really didn’t need a support crowd of other blooms - standing alone made a statement by itself.
My pitcher is also a star in my book - it is from a trip I made into Southern France to search for their beautiful blue pottery - (with my sister when I was about 8 months pregnant!) Along the way I may have taken a wrong turn and we ended making a u- turn around the border checkpoint! Crazy thing was - the guard checked our passports both directions.
So sometimes the vase should take the starring role because it’s beautiful, unique or because of the story around it. Hydrangeas are always get to be the show stoppers 😉

It began as a simple wedding celebration and became a celebration with many family and friends showering them with love, joy and prayers as they begin their lives together.

One week ago tomorrow during a continuous downpour a very sweet couple became husband and wife. No one imagined how wet it was going to be - and the extra effort mom and dad continued to make to keep all the tables and chairs dry - wanting to keep their daughter’s wedding as wonderful as she had hoped for. Their beautiful gardens and yard were still gorgeous and memories they never dreamed of creating will add more smiles and laughter in the years ahead.
All the flowers didn’t seem to mind being drenched- at least for awhile and set against the deep greens of all the plants - the colors of the flowers were even more vibrant.
It was such a privilege to have a small part in creating a backdrop for their wedding vows. Congratulations Seth and Teija! May you always feel God’s blessings rain down upon you.

I was so privileged to help with my sweet friend ‘s wedding. She and her husband were both so calm and simply enjoying their beautiful day. Witnessing their vows was a beautiful celebration of the love they have found together. Their wedding and reception were held at the Water Oasis in Newberg on a gorgeous sunny day that had been sandwiched between days of rain and cold. God’s blessings!
Such a wonderful beginning to their new life together. ❤️
