My Journey - Photography

In 2013, I captured a stunning moment during my recognition as one of Lifetouch's top photographers in the U.S. This image, shared with Jenifer Hudson, embodies her natural light photography style. Using the play of light and shadows, we harnessed the beauty of natural elements. Taken with my Nikon, possibly the D-40, this photo, untouched by Photoshop, I think I did add only a texture which highlights the artistry in shadows on the wall and the ethereal glow through the window, showcasing innocence with a touch of allure.

More exciting for me was to work with someone who inspired me and I didn’t even know I would have this opportunity. Imagine my surprise and her and I spoke and collaborated together- which was an honor!!

📸 What a Fantastic Senior Photo Session! 🌟

I had the privilege of capturing Jimmy during his senior year, and it was an absolute delight. It all started with this stunning red truck I stumbled upon near the studio – it just screamed 'Jimmy's vibe.' With his guitar complementing the picturesque fall backdrop, the scene was set.

The magic continued as we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset by the river. I had heard so much about Jimmy from his wonderful mom and his sister, Christina, who has been a model for my photography since she was 15. Mom wasn't entirely sure how much Jimmy would enjoy the session, but he quickly fell into the groove, and we shared plenty of laughs as I chased that perfect shot!

When we sat down for the photo selection with his mom, I was overjoyed to hear her say that she witnessed her son blossom before her eyes. She mentioned how he felt entirely natural and comfortable during the shoot, which was a surprise because he usually dislikes being photographed. It seems like a sprinkle of fairy magic found its way into the images because they turned out absolutely beautiful. ✨🍂📷
