I love business and fun ideas. Neither of which are actually possible without people. Experiences shape us and courage helps to bring the ideas to fruition. Creativity is innate and one I am honored for the opportunity to express in my business and harbor for others everyday in my hype girl platform.

This past year I’ve been thrown curve balls, challenges, learnings, pivots, countless judgements and it’s safe to say the people core to Dew kept me going. My family, friends, my employees who have leaned in and lifted me up, fellow business owners who inspired me, opened my thinking, the artists who believed in my platform and took a chance. I’m deeply grateful for every interaction. ❤️

Proof of concept for Dew Collective has been realized. Flower is art and art is flower - will continue to embody the core of what we do everyday. Our concept of transcending geographic borders while serving local communities remains paramount. Being sensitive and attuned to the role we play in life’s special moments on behalf of our clients, no matter how small the moment, is where we shine and will continue to focus.

Holiday greetings! ❤️🎄🌹 The nostalgic feel that drew us here in the first place is ever present, now just with a different view 😍

Dew Collective storefront at 70 State Street will be closing on December 31st due to the financial weight of square footage costs in this business model. The entrepreneurial pivot is real, with successful businesses rooted in the numbers, as soundly as in the brand, style and quality of product.

In the same heavy heart, it is my pleasure to share with excitement that Dew Collective is now teaming up with Illume Books to continue servicing the greater Newburyport market! Fresh flowers, plants, handmade home decor items and art will now be sold and delivered from Illume’s recently expanded location at the heart of 10 Market Square.

There will be a broadened events calendar for Illume that will be shared in the 2025 calendar year now including collaborations around monthly book clubs, flower arranging and wreath workshops, private event rentals and subscription services for book and flower orders.

We will be teaming up in a collaborative fashion to provide seasonal pop ups with our local favorites. Bookquets, book vases with beautiful blooms and book planters with fresh plants will be some of the fun new offerings in 2025. 📚 🌹 we’re always open to hear your ideas too!

Honored to align my soloprenuer passion business with a nonprofit that rings true to me, my personal life and supports both female empowerment and women’s health ♥️

My littles are my reason. They give me purpose, they inspire me, they make me better and love even harder. Their pain is mine. Eight years ago, at the 3 month check up of my first born her rotating pediatrician found a murmur that was previously undetected. The pediatrician instructed me to bring her to the cardiologist for testing. After overnight tests, they found a communication void between her left and right ventricles and shared if we didn’t intervene and add a pacemaker to our tiny baby she might not wake from a next sleep.

That wasn’t an option. So we scheduled the procedure with the best heart team at Children’s National in DC to have the pacemaker meticulously added to our precious baby’s teeny tiny heart. You’d never know today and we are blessed for the intervention that occurred, the angels watching over her and access to the quality of care and level of technology that allows Vivienne to be the thriving and vibrant young lady she is.

American Heart Association was an organization I knew I wanted to join when the time was right to provide more support to my daughter as she matured and to help further the mission connecting wellbeing with heart health, the leading cause of death for women in the US. I’ll say that again, heart health is the leading cause of death for women and there so many preventative measures that can be taken daily to mediate this - healthy living habits top of the list. From experience early intervention helps and being an advocate for your own health is critical. Being attuned to your body, asking the questions and getting to the cause even more important.

This fall I joined the Executive Leadership Council of Go Red for Women with AHA in NH amongst other survivors, caregivers and industry advocates. The Annual Leadership breakfast is being hosted 11/19 to start raising awareness for 2025 initiatives. All are invited to join! Any help to raise awareness and sponsorship for heart health is welcome.

Always on the pursuit of happiness ⚡️ finding reflection in art 🦋 and pulling together a series around the power of words.

Lance is a force. Traveling mixed media artist in the Artist in Residence program with The Venues at the Factory. I was privileged to meet with our common love and inspiration from the big Apple and since have had a lot of fun working together. He’s off to Selma next to install some powerful butterfly art that speaks to my heart strings and will no doubt make an impact on that community as much as he did here.

Kit’s a good friend in town who I love getting to know and even more deeply through her creative expression. Her work encapsulates emotional journeys and contemplations that many could benefit from experiencing. Good reminder, that we’re all on a journey and come from different backgrounds that have shaped us into the individuals we are today ❤️🫶🏼❤️

October is going to be our season to SHINE and we’re here for every second of it ✨➡️❤️☀️

The founding month of Dew Collective and one year since inception, our purpose of flowers, meet art, meet home decor in an approachable manner, is ringing true everyday.

From dahlias, amaranthus and those tonal textures, crisp nights to hand crafted apple cider candles, coffee mugs and tables to gather round on football Sundays with family and friends, we’re especially appreciative of the love and support this fall season!
