All good seem to start with once upon a time and most all of them include a bit of pixie dust.
This particular story is about a girl named Jacquelyn and a boy named Brandon who found themselves at one of the . The story began on March 19 when Brandon much to Jacquelyn’s surprise bent down on one knee and ask her to marry him. And while they got a few photos, nothing like they’d hoped for. Ah, I love a good . Jacquelyn shared that the photographer got a few shots but so moved to tears, not quite the photos to document the moment. So we stumbled upon each other in a Disney Magic Key friends group and enter a bit of pixie dust, What a wonderful couple and a fun story to share. I’d always wanted to capture the
love, whimsy and wonder and the of making it real… unfolding in one of my favorite places. So we conspired & dreamed up some fun ideas, made a wish list and a plan to meet early one morning when the park is quiet and again at sunset to capture their wildly, sweet & whimsical love story. Words for life. Don’t launch a flaming marshmallow at a friend. A good s’more break after a fun beaxh or park day is the best. This girl loves s’mores! ❤️🔥🍫🌊⛱️🏕️

It’s ok if you fall apart sometimes. S’mores fall a part, and we still love them.

Please sir, can I have s’more? If the marshmallow holds it all together (we said it), it’s important to do it right. Here are some quick tips to achieve marshmallow perfection:

🔥 For the light golden-brown color and a perfectly cooked interior, you want to find the subtle flames at the base of the fire and be patient. OMG! The whole thing is on fire!

🔥 We’re okay. Take two. There is a season (turn, turn, turn)…Frequently turn the marshmallow as it hovers over the embers rather than the flames.

🔥 Putting a marshmallow over the flames will result in what appears to be a fast cooking method, but the quick exposure will simply char the outside, leaving the inside tough and cool. Some like the char. Go with what feels right.

🔥 Caution. You may be tempted to swing the roasting stick back and forth at a rapid pace causing the marshmallow to launch through the air making contact with the forehead of your friend. Former friend? We can all laugh about it, right? No? Avoid launching flaming marshmallows. Metaphor for life. You’re welcome.

P.S. There is s’more? Be sure to follow proper campfire procedures when tending to and putting out your fires. Always drown, stir, feel, and repeat until the area is cool to the touch.

Fly fishing in Soda Butte, Slough Creek & Yellowstone Rivers in NE corner of park closest to exit. We had an awesome day discovering less traveled parts of the park and chatting with the anglers we met. So many great people and such a gorgeous place to take it all in. I’m definitely hooked and would love to return here for longer. Late this summer we took a road trip up to Montana & Wyoming stopping thru Utah, Idaho & Nevada along the way. We had an amazing time & travel photos and videos are one of my first loves. Since photography has been shut down for the better part of this year due to COVID-19 I haven’t posted as much but I thought I’d kick things back off by sharing a few fun images that I’ll have in a gallery for viewing with a more complete set. Enjoy!
