Responsibilities
This position plans, develops, and implements all components of City-sponsored, outdoor/indoor, public festivals, events, ceremonies, concerts, or other similar large-scale activities. Coordinates logistics, site and safety plans, programming, and entertainment. Manages event budgets. Coordinates development of event promotions. Collaborates with other City departments and community organizations.

Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field, and 1- 2 years of experience in professional event management, with one year of lead or supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Innovative, outdoor, large-scale, event management experience is a plus!
