80% of flowers sold at grocery stores are grown thousands of miles away, mostly in South America.

When florists utilize local farms; it benefits their local community and our country. (Obviously, I often have to use imported flowers in the winter when there are fewer local flowers.)

The flowers in this bouquet were grown in Siletz, Oregon by Shantelle Brown; in Philomath, Oregon, by Greengable Farms, and in Hillsboro, Oregon by Peterkort Roses.
