Come and join the fun - these students have worked tirelessly on putting on a stellar performance and you won’t be disappointed. We also have a live professional orchestra performing with them! Performance starts at 7pm, tickets are $9 and are available at the door.

The Music Department will be holding an end of the year luncheon for our band and chorus students on Tuesday, June 13th (last day of school) to celebrate their accomplishments this year and show our appreciation for their dedication and commitment to the band and chorus programs.

The music department will be providing chicken riggies, meatballs, and salad. We've asked students, if possible, to bring in either a 2 liter of soda/juice, dessert to share (last year the dessert went fast!) or a bag of chips. Thank you!

Reminder: Elementary Spring Concert is tomorrow, May 23rd! 1st & 3rd grade will be at 6:00 with 5th/6th grade band and chorus on the 7:00 concert. There will be ice cream available and artwork posted in the HS cafeteria throughout the evening.

The elementary spring concert is right around the corner! Tuesday, May 23rd will feature 1st & 3rd grade at 6pm. 5th/6th grade band and chorus will be featured on the 7pm concert.

An elementary art show will be on display in the HS cafeteria throughout the evening. Ice cream will be available, too!

Please come out and support the elementary performing and visual arts at WCV next Tuesday, May 23rd!

We're so proud of our students that participated in NYSSMA (New York State Schools Music Association) Solo Festival last weekend at CVA. Students prepared a solo over the course of last few months and performed in front of a judge. Students also were required to play scales (band) and sight read 8 measures of music on the spot!

Students received wonderful and useful feedback from these judges to help them improve their skills. We're so proud of all of the success that our students enjoyed at Solo Festival this year! Congratulations!

We are very excited to announce next year’s musical! Coming to the WCV Auditorium, November 9-11, 2023!! Featuring some awesome music, a fun storyline and those zany characters that we all love! Sure to be a great time!!

There are a couple of errors in the district newsletter recently mailed out.

(1) The All-County Festival @ Poland is March 17th/18th not the 16th/17th.

(2) The Music In Our Schools Month Chorus Concert on March 14th is for grades 4th-12th grade not 5th-12th grade. This applies to the entire 4th grade and any students in chorus grades 5-12.
