This Saturday November 16th!! The Free Creatures return to Newport!! It's always a special time when they bring their wonderful music and vibe to our stage!

This trio of gifted musicians are a true representation of music from the PNW with a smooth fusion of thumpin’ trancey upright bass, psychedelic electric guitar solos, heavily danceable Hip Hop beats with vintage jazz samples, and uplifting and intelligent lyrics, all driven by beautiful vocals and harmonies.

For those of you coming from out of town, we have hotels within walking distance of the venue (we recommend La Quinta) and plenty of bay front sights and restaurant options nearby as well.

Primaltones has bar service with local micro brews, cider and kombucha on tap. We also have a fine selection of wine, prosecco, hard seltzers, light beers and non-alcoholic options too. We have a small food menu with pizza, ice cream sandwiches and popcorn available. Our outdoor social area and the fire pit will be set up too.

Halloween was epic! Thank you to everyone who showed up and made it a night to remember. So many great costumes you all really brought it! It was really sweet to see all the families show up for the early part of the night with some excellent costumes too.

Special shout out to DJ Dose Bros, you guys kept the dance floor going and had some fantastic mixes! To our queen, Alli Spencer for holdin down the bar and Ro Gluck for helping at the door.

Hello friends! We have some great events on the horizon! check it out:

This Friday November 8th we have Open Mic/Karaoke At Primaltones Venue starting at 8pm.

This Saturday November 9th we have Country Night At Primaltones starting with a free line dancing lesson with our friend Fantasia McCue starting at 7pm followed by total request country music and dancing all night.

Next friday November 15th we have Night Market At Aquarium Village. A variety of vendors, Aquarium village shops, karaoke, music and food from 6-10pm!

Saturday November 16th we have Free Creatures Live At Primaltones! Prepare to dance and celebrate all that is good with this talented trio!

And we're excited for the return of RAMBLXR Live At Primaltones on November 23rd for some original live Celtic dance music from the talented Elias Alexander

This Saturday November 2nd, Butoh Cabaret returns to the Primaltones stage for a special Día de los Mu***os performance. Enjoy an evening of butoh-influenced dance and ritual theater investigating life and death as transformative processes. This performance art show produced by Sophia Solano and will feature local and guest talent in a dance between the worlds of the living and dead, something and nothing, light and dark.

Our annual Halloween bash is right around the corner!! Saturday October 26th! Costume up, dance the night away, take pictures in our photo booth, and win prizes at our costume contest!

And we're excited to welcome special guests DJ Dose Bros who will be in house bumping a tasty mix of music to keep the dance floor going.

The early part of the party will be family and teen friendly.
21+ after 10pm.

It's going to be a blast!

Wow! What a weekend! Friday and Saturday night was absolutely fantastic to say the least. Our community was blessed with two nights of amazing live music and all-inclusive celebration. This is what we strive for here at Primaltones and we definitely received it!💯🎉 Huge thanks to Jay Si Proof who played on Friday night. Y'all are amazing, talented and graceful musicians and brought the energy! Thanks for getting us up and dancing, we can't wait to have you back!🙏 Saturday night we had our "Fabulous Formal" celebrating Newport Oregon Pride and it was definitely one for the memories. Glitterfox put on an amazing performance and really connected everybody through their music, (thank you for driving 8 hours straight to play for us all)! Dixie DeLish and Mx. Chevious Al & the Body Culture Healing put on fantastic burlesque and drag performances and DJ rhythm brought the heat with some great mixes and kept the dance floor going. We're so grateful for all the performers who put their heart and soul into what they do and for all the support and love from our community! And shout out to Newport Pride and all the committees for your energy! We have more great events coming up and can't wait to see you all again soon!💛🎶🎶
