It’s been a while since we’ve had a shoot in this studio that wasn’t private … ESPN was at Garage On York today with Kirt Herbstreit and College Gameday!! They came in from NY and Connecticut and was glad to have found us. “Well be back” they said! - Sure hope so!!

It’s been a fabulous 3 day weekend with Ashley Max-Dixon and Max Model Mgmt and team. From Columbus, Philadelphia and New York this team of 5 is knocking it out of the park here at the studios. MMM is a model Developement company working with a huge variety of models to develop their skills and portfolio before they move on to Heyman and others to get work. If modeling is something that you have been thinking about, there is alot more that goes into it than a pretty smile. Connect with Ashley above and she absolutely will get you on the right path.

“Whenever I'm showing potential first time models the kinds of shoots we can do, they're always really intrigued by the Infinity room pictures. When we go in and they see the room they are shocked, from the makeup stations to the size of the c*c wall.

These pictures are with RGB LEDs and monolight strobes that I've brought with varying modifiers to get different looks, as the studio provides such a great canvas that you can play with. If you haven't already, give it a try!”

FASHION WEEK is upon us! As UC DAAP Fashion Design students complete their senior capstone projects, one of the very exciting components is to shoot their collection. We are honored to host many of these photo shoot projects this past weekend and over the next week. These senior design students each have different themes for their collections, they have 3 months to put 5 looks together, shoot their collection then put into print. The fashion show will be at Mega Corp Pavilion on April 26th featuring each of these designers! Here are a few BTS of some of these projects the last 2 days. SAVE THE DATE: April 16th - Epic, Pop-up spring shoot for photographers at studio821. A collaborative shoot designed for over the top, colorful and diverse portfolio building and connecting. Featuring stylist and artist, Stacey Vest of www.easttovest.com and complimenting top avant-garde MUA's, Amber Johnson, Ashley Olivia and others. The Answers.tv film crew started shooting the first episode of a brand-new TV show called “Creation Cooking.”

In this episode, the key ingredients were limes and eggplants. They made honey-lime shredded chicken and Brazilian lemonade. With the eggplant, they made baba ghanoush and eggplant parmesan.

Be on the lookout for this new show to hit https://Answers.TV in the late fall.

Answers TV is the family friendly God honoring streaming platform produced by Answers in Genesis.

A suprise meeting after 25 years…

A special BTS from the Auditorium…. After 25 years of exchanged letters of encouragement and photos, a surprise meeting was arranged for Mona to finally meet her sponsors who helped her escape her poverty stricken lifestyle in Uganda. **Sponsorship program is made possible by Compassion International who flew in for this emotional filming and interview.

We offer hourly, daily, and weekly scheduling and provide on-site beauty professionals who specialize in hair, makeup, and more. Our beautifully restored lodge hall, built circa 1860, is located on historic York Street in Newport, KY. We look forward to hosting you!
