Dearest Reader,

You have been cordially invited to a soirée at Clifton House on the 31st of August, the social season will be coming to a close and the Ton is a buzz with summer romance’s and scandal.

Join us for a lovely evening from 6:30pm to 9:30pm with live entertainment from AP Strings.

The Menu:

First Course: Smoked salmon Canapés

Second Course: Shrimp and Cucumber salad

Third Course: Coq au Vin (chicken braised in red wine with bacon and mushrooms) with Boursin whipped potatoes and green beans

Fourth Course: Chocolate Crème Brûlée with Truffles

Clifton Heights is a neighborhood where harmony mostly prevails, yet a few have sown discord, leading to chaos and misunderstanding. In an effort to mend fences, the neighborhood Home Owner's Association has upheld the tradition of the annual BBQ, viewing it as a means to broker peace among residents and restore the community's congenial spirit.
This year, the festivities are set to unfold at the home of Horace Cate, an Attorney General for the great state of Tennessee. Horace normally private has decided to open his home up as a way to bring the community together, but mysteriously guest start to disappear. A disgruntled band member might have the clues, or possibly the chef simply ran out of meat and needed something fresh and close by.

Getting ready for our Bluegrass and Moonshine dinner party tomorrow night, huge huge huge shout out to Kathy over at Petals Florist And Gift Shop for doing a spectacular job on the centerpieces for the tables. John Mooneyham and Fiddling Leona will be playing live from 6:30pm to 9:30pm as we take a fun culinary spin on southern cuisine infused with different moonshines from Sugarlands Shine

So excited for our Mountains Music and Moonshine dinner, John Mooneyham and Fiddling Leona will be playing live 6:30 to 9:30pm I’ll be cooking up some yummy food for whoever wants to have a fun evening and meet other great locals. Throw on your most creative hillbilly attire, there will be a contest for the most creative outfit. I’ve got 9 seats left Menu: First Course: Shrimp and Grits Cheesy grits infused with bacon(infused with bacon moonshine), cherrie tomatoes and green onion. Topped with blacked shrimp Second Course: Soup Beans( infused with original moonshine) and Cornbread Third Course: Apple Cider Pork Butt( infused with apple pie moonshine), green beans , and mashed sweet potatoes. Forth Course: BlackBerry Cobbler (infused with blackberry moonshine)
