The Mylar Balloon Project | Our incredible General Manager at Stone House Inn, Teresa O’Connor, is hosting a one-of-a-kind art exhibition TOMORROW at the Tiverton Yacht Club (Riverside Ave) from 5PM-10PM!

Her collection? 758 vibrant Mylar balloons gathered over 4 years, transformed into powerful artwork that highlights both beauty and the environmental impact of waste. 🌎🎈

**Join Our Team! - Skilled Carpenters Wanted**

IDC Inc. is looking for experienced carpenters to support our exciting capital improvement projects in both our marina and hotel divisions in Newport, RI. We need hands-on, flexible, and motivated carpenters with experience in framing, finish work, and general building operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform demolition, rough carpentry, and detailed finish work.
- Frame floors, walls, decks, and roofs; install windows, doors, siding, roofing, trim, decking, and stairs.
- Build docks and ensure compliance with marina standards.
- Work with both interior and exterior materials including wood and composites.
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and project goals.

**Requirements:**
- Reliable transportation to various project sites in Newport & Little Compton.
- Ability to work at heights (up to 85 feet) and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read construction documents and work with building codes.
- Experience with historic preservation is a plus.

**Skills:**
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Type:** Full-time
