We will be participating in a joint community event in Black Mountain this Sunday providing food and bounce houses. They are also doing a toy/coat drive if anyone has collected coats or toys and would like to donate or if you would like to send money to purchase some we will pick them up before we leave. Any coats donated must be new with tags!

We have been so blessed to be able to secure a large portion of the supplies we need for our NC mountain meal. We will will be serving lunch and providing some bounce house fun in Swannanoa on Nov 10th .

At this point they're are still a few things we need your help with!
-dinner rolls
-sweet tea in gallon jugs
-various 2 liter soft drinks
-cakes (sliced and wrapped individually)

If you can help with any of these things please message us asap and let us know. If you would like to send a monetary contribution we will use it to purchase these items.

Again we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our mission through: donations, money, prayers, and sharing our posts.

With the donations we've received so far we have been able to purchase: carry out plates, cutlery, cups, string beans, aluminum foil, aluminum pans!
We truly appreciate everyones help! Let's keep this going and make this thing a huge success!

Also if anyone see the 6lb cans of whole potatoes, please let us know!

We are once again asking for your support in helping to serve and love on the people of Western NC!

We are planning to prepare and serve a delicious meal for as many as will come, on Nov 10th in Swannanoa, NC.

We will have a bounce house set up for kids to be able to play. While there, families will be able to get any supplies they need from the collection center there at the church.

To make this the huge success that we imagine we will need lots of help! We will need: food (Boston butts have already been donated 🙌), chicken legs or leg quarters, large cans of string beans, large cans of boiled potatoes, rolls , tea, drinks, to go plates, cutlery sets, large aluminum pans, large rolls of aluminum foil, cups, gas for the grills, and a few large coolers that we could borrow to transport food.

All monetary donations will be put directly toward supplies for the event and any remaining we will use to buy heaters/ propane to leave in the area.

We are excited to be able to provide a warm meal and a little fun for these families!

Anyone have a cooking trailer that they would donate for a day (as in I’d be pulling it and using it) to carry to the mountains to do a thanksgiving meal around Nov 10th? Trying to find a trailer before I get to involved in coordinating with a relief group. If you know of a business that might would please tag them or anyone you know! TIA

Here we go again! First and foremost we would like to thank everyone who has donated to help the people in the mountains during this tragic time. Upon seeing a glimpse of how it is when we made our delivery Sunday we are still asking for everyone’s help to make another trip. Most places are stocked with food, water, and diapers. What they need most of all now is a place to sleep and a way to keep warm. We spent all the money that was donated on sleeping bags, tents, air mattresses, propane and cooking sources but when you have thousands of people homeless that doesn’t even scratch the surface. Below is pictures of what is needed most and we understand if you’ve donated or can’t spend a lot but if everyone that sees this post could do 1$ or 5$ it’ll do further than you think. Everyone was very appreciative of what was taken but their faces lit up the most when they saw tents and sleeping bags so if you can help us out to make another round everyone would be greatly appreciative. If nothing else please share !!!

Edited to add: storage totes with lids and tarps are also something that is in high demand. People here are receiving food, clothing, etc but have no where to store and keep them dry as many are living in tents and have no storage space.

We have had a lot of interest on Dec the 2nd as far as rentals but unfortunately we have a private event that morning and a Christmas party in Raleigh that afternoon so we will not be doing any rentals. We apologize for any inconvenience.
