Hello friends and family -
A brief update on how Marty is doing-
As we would all expect , he is keeping a positive attitude and working hard at his recovery. He has started PT and is doing well with it. Though he still cannot feel his foot and parts of his leg, he is using muscle memory and determination to use them as well as possible. He just spent a week at his parents home and got to visit with many friends there. In addition Annie got to use her massage therapy expertise on him daily- overall a very heartwarming and productive week!! He and Kerri both have been truly touched by the love and support that have been shown to them during this difficult time. We extend many many thanks to everyone for all of their prayers, love and donations- all of which will continue to help Marty on his road to recovery!

36 days after being used in an arrangement, this rose is STILL holding beautifully!
It matters what florist you buy from because it matters where florists get their flower stock. Flowers go through a lot before they get to you. Things like how they are grown, harvested, handled, boxed, shipped, transported, processed and kept until they are arranged and finally - you receive them.
Keep your blooms longer by choosing a reputable florist, changing water in containers/vases every couple of days, adding flower preservative, re- cutting stems and keeping them out of humidity or heat.
