I'm sure by now, if you live in Massachusetts, you've noticed the stunning display hydrangeas are making this summer. Last year, I had 2 hydrangea plants left over from Mother's Day. I plopped them haphazardly in my garden and forgot about them. I wasn't sure what color they were. These are them!!

I'm loving this new version of a vase Ive loved for awhile. It's a quality clear glass bubble vase dipped in hammered gold. I know it's hard to see here, but it is classy! Look very closely and you will see a bunch of tiny bunny eyes peering up at you! I won't disturb these little ones, but needed to capture the utter cuteness. Yesterday, I noticed a plant moving up and down ever so slightly in a large container/pot planted with annuals. The brood was restless and hungry I guessed....since mom comes to nurse them at night when it's safe. This same thing happened last year until one day they were all gone. All grown up after a number of weeks nestled all together. I hope this bunny mama comes back every year! ❤

Congrats to all the Boston College graduates who received their diplomas this weekend! Each year, the Crimson Petal goes out of our way to make sure parents are prepared to celebrate their kids. Here, we chose deep red/burgundy peonies, roses and golden sunflowers for a BC student. We wrapped it 'to go' but sent a sturdy glass vase for the parents to keep the bouquet in water until needed. Delivered direct to their hotel just as they checked in!
