Had an opportunity to perform a few tricks for my coworkers from Jackson Memorial High school. I've been a High school Social Studies teacher for 8 years now. Doing tricks for the kids has both been an opportunity to test some new material, and a major source of the reason why I do tricks. Putting a smile on any face, young or old is the main motivation behind my magic.
Welcome to summer magic season everyone! And Goodbye JMHS! Congrats to the 2024 seniors! And Goodbye to all my coworkers who've been the absolute best!

For those who don't know, this is Bill Malone. One of the magicians I discovered as a kid and a main inspiration for my style in magic. For those who have never heard of him, just search him up on YouTube and you'll find 100's of videos of this master magician absolutely dumbfounding his audience. All while making them laugh. Norman Rockwell (1894-1978) was an American painter and illustrator. As an artist for the Saturday evening post, he became very famous for his depictions of small town America. Over the next 47 years he created hundreds of covers.
During world war I, he created "A trench Spade" depicting two soldiers playing cards in a trench.
My love of history and magic led me to this cover. Now I have a small little print of it in my room.

While i don't have a new video to post for you this week I wanted to share a little insight to my love of magic, cards, and history.
