Hidden Costs- Check this out. Recently looked at booking a room for a party of 50-100 guests for my daughter at a banquet hall. $600 for 4 hours ok great and set up “free” BUT Then-$120 for table clothes, 15% up charge for catering set up $90 and 15% $90 for setting up bar table, plus all liquor and beverages bought through them - who knows how much but that can be huge but estimate cost per drink $4-7 $800-$1400 (2 drinks per guest) plus tip $280 and oh yes,deposit of $250 for room.

Total Cost for “room” due to requirements- $2830

No assistance with anything all day=$
No coordination when vendors arrive to set up=?$
Required vendors we must use =$
1 Room - no windows, no fresh air, no views, no place for guest to sit other than tables-
No closet to borrow from=$
Carry in and out all decor, decanters, serving requirements etc = $
