My friends at Sip Studio in Freeport are accepting donated supplies for post-hurricane support for affected areas.

Let’s notify the community by sharing their post, as we come together to support affected families. Thank you!

Sip Studio is now a drop off point for hurricane recovery supplies.

Our area has been heavily impacted by the recent storm events.

If you have items you would like to donate. Please bring them to Sip Studio, and we will be sure to get them to the appropriate places for immediate disbursement for those in need.

(Updated: Inserted pics of Blood Type Diet meals I’ve recently had the pleasure of creating. Many of these are WW, Keto & GF friendly….Real food, healthy homestyle, clean.)

Back in 1999, I was introduced to the Blood Type Diet by Peter D’adamo when shopping for office furniture (of all things). The store manager and I engaged in conversation, then I began to overshare about my post pregnancy health issues, family medical history & my concerns of having diabetes & heart issues. She happened to have books at the store, I immediately purchased.

I’ve always loved creating and cooking but never knew anything about actual nutritional values and such (like proteins, fats, carbs, balancing, portions, etc) so the blood type diet resource/concept of nutrition helped begin my journey into learning more.

Being transparent, have I adapted to a lifestyle of eating for my blood type ? ….NO! Should I ?….ABSOLUTELY! The times I have adapted my choices to this for a minimum 3 month period, I felt amazing and had an internal youthful glow about myself. Pounds weren’t melting off but maybe 12 lb in a 3 month span. I didn’t count macros. I just ate what was “beneficial” and “neutral” from the list.

It seemed very easy to give up chicken, although some things were harder due to availability of certain foods, dining out at restaurants for social time, and having a household of different blood types.

But this….. a shout out to Sara Kate Drinnon, Myla Byrne-Mendoza, Elsie Cruz Miles, Chelsea Smith Relentess Iron Beau Drinnon You are inspiring me to pick it up again!

Seeing your results are helping me to remember how great I felt, by reversing inflammation & threat of long term illness & disease. I’m still trying to find the photo from 7 short years ago to show proof of what I’m talking about. When I do, it will be posted here 😂

As school starts back soon, I’m reflecting on some pretty terrific memories this vacation season. Thank you & all our wonderful customers who support my small business. I love the art of hospitality, as well as creating & serving healthy homestyle meals, snacks & desserts. (Ok, I’ll be honest, splurge happens too, and all my creations are not “above board healthy” 🤭 but a little indulgence goes a long way on certain days 😉)
