The non-profit Mattie Kelly Arts Center is a $25 million-dollar performing arts & education venue that hosts entertainment of all types-from Broadway's best touring shows to orchestra, rock concerts, art exhibits, jazz, ballet. The Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center is located on the 265-acre Niceville, FL campus of Northwest Florida State College and is a non-profit entity operated by the

Event prices range from Free to $45 (Broadway Series), $35 (Artist Series) and $25 (Symphony Orchestra). Resell of tickets is strictly prohibited. As the Emerald Coast's premier entertainment venue, the complex features two theaters, two art galleries, a Recital Hall, and outdoor amphitheater and more! The magnificent Mainstage Theater boasts 1,650 seats. The Mattie Kelly Arts Center is located just minutes from neighboring coastal communities - about 14 miles from Destin and Fort Walton Beach. NWF READS & The Blackwater Review welcome The Asia Project to the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Sprint Theater.

Please join us for Spoken Word Performance from Asia Samson, Poet Laureate of Northwest Florida on Thursday, January 23 at 5 PM.

The Asia Project has toured over 2000 colleges and behind the microphone, Asia Samson, is a writer and poet that has been seen on HBO Def Poetry Jam and has shared the stage with some amazing artists.

*Note for Students: The student workshop is at 2 PM CST - 350 in room 110.
