Back Story: No, we're not professionals, and we can't even boast to be 100% total green display by using all L.E.D.s in our display. No, news crews won't be stopping by to film. But, just maybe, however, you might just like to see some Christmas Lights orchestrated to some festive Christmas tunes right here in Nicholasville? Limited hours to respect our neighbors' busy schedules. Like the
big boys in Lexington, we dedicate our display to our Lord and Savior's Birthday. We also enjoy seeing smiles on faces of passersby and hope to create life-long Christmas memories. And Lord, someday when I meet you face to face, may I hear you say to those very talented folks in Lexington, "When You Made My people Smile, You Made Me Smile." But I hope you'll look over my way, give me a wink, and say, "Nice job over there in Nicholasville, too!"
If you're in the Orchard View Neighborhood of Nicholasville anyway, please feel free to drive by (slowly) and "Hear Our Christmas Lights" in FM Stereo at 89.7 FM. What you'll see and hear is our modest Synchronized Christmas Lights Display, now powered by Light-O-Rama® . . ..
. . any/all donations received (we sure don't expect or anticipate any) will go to the Manna Ministry - Free Meal Program (On Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/nicholasvillemannameals) (On the NUMC Website at http://numcky.org/community/manna-ministries/) . . . staving off hunger for needy families in Jessamine County . . . Finally, we welcome you to join us at Nicholasville United Methodist Church (NUMC) located in the heart of downtown Nicholasville at 303 W Maple Street for one (or both) of the Candle Light Service(s) on Saturday, December 24, at 7 p.m.
