Had there been a Traffic Light there he more than likely would still be here! Thank you in advance for doing this for this mom who lost her son.🙏💙

Can we just get back to a time when neighbors were helping neighbors without needing a tragedy to do so? Can we get back to a time when we weren't glued to our phones 24/7? Can we get back to the times when you had to EARN THAT TROPHY 🏆 and it not just handed to you because you showed up but not out? Can we get back to a time where it was OK to AGREE TO DISAGREE? To a time where we aren’t calling people Racist, Liar, Cultist, or anything other than our names? If anyone needs help with something or just needs to talk I got you 💯! Dear Future Couples; Couple Edition!

Guest party favors can sometimes be the biggest waste of money that I probably see time and time again! Guest honestly could care less about these things and your money could be better spent elsewhere. Like that vendor you really wanted that was a little out of your original budget. If you just have to give something make it more personal. Give something from the area that is unique. For example Bourbon Balls are a big thing here in KY for obvious reasons and are given out as a gift.

Let's talk about can koozies! After the wedding, the last thing anyone does is walk around drinking their soda or beer can with a koozie that has your name and wedding date on it! I mean honestly think about it. I have done thousands of weddings and I have never seen one. I remember several years back I was clearing out all my junk drawers and kept finding koozies. I had over 100 of them when done. I never used one of them! Save your money and spend it on something that you really need for your wedding day!

Dear Future Couples, Couple edition!

We love creating moments for our couples that last a lifetime. Being creative and adding things that are a reflection of you both. However, there are some things that can be a little cringe and outdated! One of these is the Dollar Dance. Unless this is something that your family does at every wedding I would stay away from this. A couple of things why we suggest this. One, most people don't carry cash on them.

Now if your really set on doing this then get two copies of a QR code from your favorite pay app. Print two out and get two cheap picture frames to put them in.. Then give one to whoever is collecting the money for you. This way if people don't have cash this is a great alternative. Second reason that we have seen happen is in today's times where we have so many people that get offended so easy. People see this as outdated and offensive because you are “charging” them to be a part of your day.

Dear Future Couples; Guest Edition!

When a guest at a wedding please keep a vigilant eye on your cute children. This isn't a daycare and it's not someone elses job to watch them, especially the DJ. The dance floor is not a playground. This past weekend I saw a little boy get trampled because 60 ppl were trying to do the Cha Cha Slide. Granny ended up tripping over him and I thought for sure she broke a hip!
Couples to help out with this, if you know you have a lot of kids coming then make a special place for them. Get a large roll of white paper and cover a table with it. Provide crayons and/or WASHABLE markers for them to draw and color. Stake several sheets so that as one fills up you take it off and you have a clean one underneath. Provide bubbles and little goodie bags. The Dollar Tree is great for this!
Parents of children make sure you also bring things for your child. Last but not least of you know your child is a handful then get a sitter. Take this opportunity to be a date night. You will have more fun and a couples special day will be amazing for everyone!

Dear Future Couples, Groom edition!

Fellas, no matter how much you want to smash that cake in her face, PLEASE, Do Not do it! She spent a lot of money and time on that makeup! I get it, it sounds fun to do and people try to encourage it but it isn't for the bride. You are also on a schedule and that's just added time to take away from the formalities and get you to the dance floor.

Now, If it's planned ahead and she doesn't care then by all means carry on but still be sweet about it. A simple dab on each other's nose or chin that you can kiss off will go a long way then smashing it. Also make sure you let your planner, caterer, or DJ know that you plan on doing this so they can have stuff ready to give you to clean it off.

This one is for the grooms! If you want a successful and long marriage just listen to your wife! She is going to be right 99.999% of the time! You are just wasting your time and energy proving otherwise! Just let it happen and move on. You will NEVER win that argument! Happy Wife = Happy Life 💯!😉🤣

Dear future brides,

Please stop booking the middle of November Barn Weddings in KY! The odds of it being nice and warm are slim to none! Save yourself and your guest from possible rain and cold temps by doing it in a climate-controlled venue if possible.
