We’ve been so busy lately with homeschooling and fall sports, we haven’t really been out in the flower farm much except to do clean up or fall plantings. Today, we perused the remaining dahlias, strawflowers, and gomphrenas. Will miss this during the winter!

Practicing for next fall! We dried a few flowers and glued them on some volunteer pumpkins that grew in our front yard 🤦‍♀️
Super pretty and fun! We didn’t have our act together this summer to dry enough flowers and plant enough pumpkins to share these, but we have it on our list for next year!

The end of our first season. Our area’s first frost is expected in a couple of weeks, but the garden is showing that it’s tired and ready to be finished for the summer. What a ride! We have learned so much and had such a blast sharing our flowers with you! From the Manassas park farmers market, to Vita nova and The Things I Love, thank you all so much for your support! Nothing makes our day more than getting a message from a repeat customer!

Our last flower drop at Vita Nova will be this upcoming Friday 10/11. We plan to do a drop tomorrow as well. The bouquets will be heavy on dahlias!

Again, we can’t thank all you wonderful people enough for your support this first year!

SO many bumblebees! Luckily if I don’t bother them, they don’t bother me!

Happy Monday, friends! Loving the fall colors of this arrangement, and the toddler commentary is an added bonus.

Since starting our small flower farm, I keep thanking God for creating these beautiful plants for us to enjoy!

With lots of rain on the horizon, it will be hard to harvest flowers for arrangements the next few days! So the team and I got to work tonight! We are grateful for the rain though, we need it!
