Greetings to all my customers past and present! I know it has been a long time since I have been cooking. I decided to take the whole summer off (the first time I have ever done that)! I enjoyed spending time with my family, traveling, decluttering and remodeling our home.

I was always planning on coming back after Labor Day, but after a lot of reflection and prayer, after 7 years, I have decided to step away from my business making home cooked meals. The work was never just on one or two days, but always filtered onto about 4 days with planning, searching recipes and shopping at several stores. I just found myself neglecting our home and rarely making meals for my own family. I also found that standing for long hours cooking really caused problems with pain in my neck and back.

I am honored that so many of you have ordered from me over the years, with several people who became "regulars". I am ever so grateful for that. I am just ready for a new season to find more of what God's purpose for me in life truly is. Now that Olivia (my inspiration for Olive 23) is 9 years old and in 4th grade, I truly want to be more involved with things she is doing with school and extracurriculars. I want to get more involved with helping my husband in any way I can, and I am also looking forward to continuing remodeling, being more involved in my church and volunteering. I am also making more meals for my family (isn't that nice of me?LOL).

You never know if I will get back into it someday, but for now, it's a new season...Thank you so much for 7 years of business! You all have been great!

#1: Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken Enchiladas-Healthier Enchiladas... with Dairy Free option & Low-Carb Option. My Chicken salsa black bean slow cooker recipe with over 20 healthy & fresh ingredients with losts of flavor (Chicken, salsa, black beans, herbs & spices to name a few) stuffed into a soft tortilla and topped with my homemade enchilada sauce and baked with a cheddar blend on top (OMIT CHEESE- for a dairy free option or Choose Low-carb soft tortillas for $5 more). I will be spending time with my family, working on projects, helping my husband with his businesses and healing my back and neck from long hours standing and cooking.
