Hey everyone. I've been pretty quiet and lost my insta mojo these last few weeks. Since the start of the year negative follows have become an often daily occurence and my reach is generally at around 6k. So no one sees what I post, my following drops, my engagement stagnates and I just feel totally insecure about the quality and standard of what I do.
I always thought that by the time an account hit big numbers, it would grow exponentially but it's so not true. The goalposts just keep moving. I think insta gives us all our 15 min of fame ..that viral reel that surpassed 1mil views, the celebrity who shared your work, the one pic that is shared by everyone. That sudden upward trajectory that is sustained for weeks, where insta loves you and you're gaining 300 follows a day. At that point you think, I've done it, I'm just going to ride the wave knowing I've finally figured out IG. Then it all just stops. You're still posting reels and work you're proud of but it's like being ghosted in a relationship. And we all know how that feels!!!
