On this Memorial Day, as we spend time with family and friends, or simply take advantage of the long weekend, let us take a moment to reflect on what the day is all about! Democracy is so precious. As it’s managed by humans, it can be very messy indeed, but simply speak with someone who grew up in one of the many dictatorships and sheikdoms and you’ll quickly learn how wonderful this country is. Over one million people have given their lives to either protect Our nation, or strive to protect others. They, and those who’ve risked their lives, deserve our praise. The world is full of evil and people who wish to destroy the democracies of the world. Thank God for those who choose to serve so that we don’t have to, and thank God for the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for us, and the world!!!
