These cooler temperatures have us VERY excited to eat some GUMBO, how about you??

Hope to see you all on Saturday at our gumbo cook-off fundraiser event!

We have gotten some inquiries and wanted to assure all our vegetarian friends out there that we WILL have an option for you! Did you know there is a “green gumbo” that can be made veggie and it’s absolutely delicious?! If you don’t eat meat we have you covered! 👍

**Also, for those with any dietary restrictions, please ask each cook about the contents of their gumbo before tasting**

It's ! Here are scenes from the very first photoshoot for the very first The Norman Transcript article about the very first Norman Mardi Gras Parade, way back in 1994!

Over 31 years have passed since then, and 30 Mardi Gras Parades (missed one due to the pandemic) but we're still getting a kick out of bringing Norman's community together for art, music and FUN!

We love that New Orleans Krewe of Freret has mask making events throughout the year! They don't just do football and masks, they also have Pizza and make making parties!
