We are saddened to share this, David McCullough of Gorham, Maine past on November 25, 2024. David was a past club member for many years sharing his passion of the Grand Lake Stream yearly 4th of July parade with our club to attend. He organized many plow days held in Gorham and always encouraged our club to join in. A Celebration of Life was held on December 7th in Gorham. May you rest in peace, Dave. Our sincere condolences to his wife, Jennifer, his grandson Nolan, and all of his family and friends.

We are saddened to share the passing of Liz DeWitt of Dresden, Maine. Liz was active in the club for many years alongside her husband Glen who served as a Club President and Festival Chairman for several years. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and cheeriness along with a huge heart as she would help anyone in need. May you rest in peace, Liz. Our sincere condolences to all of her family and friends.

We are saddened to share the passing of club member Glen DeWitt of Dresden. Glen served the MATC as president and chairman of the festival committee, moving the club forward in many ways with his dedication. Glen most recently donated a rare Brockway tractor to the club for a restoration project. Glen's legacy will live on within the club as we fondly remember him. May you rest in peace, Glen. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

2024 Norridgewock Holiday Tractor Parade!

~Many hands make light work~ MATC will have our WORK DAY on October 26th starting about 8:30am. We will be removing the deck off the clubhouse, replacing the steel roofing on the field side of our clubhouse, and painting the exterior of the clubhouse. Please join us with your gloves, paint brush, or come as your are, to help out the MATC. It is greatly appreciated as we keep our club moving forward. 🚜:::::::::

A large and memorable donation to the Maine Antique Tractor Club from the Burl Ewell Family. We recieved 5 of Burl’s tractors from his personal antique tractor collection that will be a lasting reminder of the man Burl was with his caring and giving ways, not only to our club but in life. We miss his presence and feel blessed that we meant as much to Burl as he meant to us. His tractor legacy will “live on” in our club. Thank you to Burl’s family, especially his daughter, Cherish and Andrea, and to Chris Folsom and Joe Rand for their help in transporting the donation.

Preserving Our Agricultural Heritage

We are a family-oriented, non-profit organization, focusing on the preservation of information, documents, and artifacts relating to the invention, development, and use of farm tractors and related implements and equipment. We shall endeavor to teach present and future generations about the uses of these antique tractors, implements and equipment and to show them at work. Originally founded in 1994 by a handful of tractor lovers, the club has grown to over 500 members and sponsors. Membership is not limited to those who own restored tractors. Unrestored tractors, straight off the farm are popular too. In fact it is not necessary to own a tractor at all to participate in club activities. Membership gives the family something to enjoy together and because children are always welcome at all club functions and meetings, they learn to appreciate their agricultural heritage along with their parents.
