The next Cigar & Bar Club gathering is slated for Wednesday, August 28. Curious? Join in! There's a lot to experience around ci**rs, the preferred liquors to accompany them, and the food tastes that stand up to them. This crowd is ready to share their suggestions! Our resident charcuterie expert comments on one of his favorite local cheesemakers Jasper Hill Farm They produce the cheeses Chris chooses to plate for Cigar & Bar nights... Jasper Hill is a renowned Vermont cheese producer and one of the best in the country. Three go-tos for Chris' charcuterie board: Harbison (bloomy rind), Clothbound Cheddar, and Bayley Hazen Blue. They pair particularly well with barrel-aged liquors and are strong enough to stand up to cigar smoke. Come experience for yourself! A little about Park-McCullough

The Park-McCullough House is one of the finest, most significant, and best preserved Victorian Mansions in New England. It is an important example of a country house in the Second Empire Style and incorporates architectural features of the Romantic Revival style that were popular at the time. To a great extent, the House retains the integrity and impact of its original design. Built in 1864-65 by attorney and entrepreneur Trenor Park, the House was designed by Henry Dudley, a prolific New York architect of the popular firm of Diaper and Dudley.

The house, a 35-room mansion built by skilled artisans over the course of 18 months, is a prime example of Second Empire design, and represents a specific period of architectural history in the United States. Influenced both by British opulence and natural patterns, architects, designers and artists in the Victorian era brought together many different themes with a special attention to detail

Our cultural programming happens in (almost) every season. On our grounds and in our structures, we host a classical music series, a summer croquet league, membership meetings, theater productions, readings, dinners, music camps, and other public events.

Green manicured lawns, radiant flowers and topiary, makes the house one of the most verdant places to hold your wedding or event. For weddings, this Victorian mansion is regarded among the most romantic places to tie the knot.
