Well, that was fun!! Thank you for joining us last weekend for Santa in the Stable! It was a blast! The Carriage Barn was filled with music, joy, wonder, and of course, Mrs. Claus and Santa! Thank you to our incredible volunteers, partners (Phoenix Fitness, Village School of North Bennington, John G. McCullough Free Library), as well as our sponsor, The Bank of Bennington (who hosted a rockin' Hot Cocoa Bar!). We're grateful for you all! Special thanks to Ron Pembroke and his crew, and Art Whitman, wagon-ride-giver, for sharing their resources and time.

Wreath-making with Katie Vandale is almost here... One more week to purchase your tickets to this popular annual event! Katie is offering two sessions next weekend: Saturday, Dec. 7, 6 - 8 pm, and Sunday, Dec. 8, 11 am - 1 pm. Sunday is almost sold out, so act quickly!

Your ticket includes a drink ticket and snacks/treats, plus your hand-made-by-you-with-love wreath! (Feel free to bring extra decorations if you're going for a specific theme.)

Representatives of the Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion asked the Village Trustees for a $3,500 increase in the amount the town puts in its budget for the organization.

One more weekend to visit the museum before it closes for the season! Our last opening hours for 2024 (other than for events in the carriage barn, of course!): FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, Oct. 18 - 20, 10am - 4pm. Despite the sunny skies and mild temps ahead, the mansion is chilly, so bring an extra layer!

The North Bennington Village block party is almost here, and it couldn’t be a more beautiful day! Join us from noon to 2 pm on the lawn and in the carriage barn for a potluck, live music, and entertainment! Your friends from the library, village school, Head Start, VAE, Pangea, the Fund for North Bennington, Highland Hall Gardens, and Lake Paran, will be here, too!!

So fun! Thank you Hall Center for the Arts and Education, for bringing Shakespeare to the Park-McCullough. Congrats to the cast and crew for a great Shakespeare in the Park run—we all thoroughly enjoyed Twelfth Night!
