We love having our brides at the farm! We offer bulk buckets and a variety of guided DIY options from bud vases to bridesmaid bouquets. It’s a chance to take a step back from the chaos of wedding planning and get creative with your friends and family in a really unique way. We had such a fun time with Brita and her family today and we can’t wait to see everything come together tomorrow!

We had our only Sip and Snip of the season a few week ago and boy were these women were troopers! All the rain we’ve had this year has made the weeds (specifically the sand burrs 🌵) out of control. It’s always fun and reinvigorating for us to see the color combinations that people put together and the specific flowers that people gravitate toward. Next month we’re offering a *new* flower pressing class with that we’re so excited about!! It was a magical weekend with multiple weddings, harvesting, flower orders, and a house warming party for Ruby and her hubby! 💛 Doing installs like these stairs light a fire inside of both of us. We absolutely LOVE making a vision come to life, and are obsessed with how this one turned out! Congratulations to Madeleine and Jack on their big day!! 🥂

Wedding season for June and Jane kicks back up tomorrow after a short and sweet break in July. Of course so much else was going on 😅 but we’re so excited and ready for the rest of the weddings we have scheduled for 2024! Did you know we’re offering a flower pressing class every month this summer? Personally we’re so interested in learning everything there is to know about pressing so when we met we were SO excited to partner and learn from her. In the classes at the farm you’ll learn what kind of flowers work best for pressing, how to actually press them, and how you can utilize pressed flowers. You even get to keep the press after the class! We recently opened up our press after 2 months (we didn’t check it for a while 😬) and were blown away by how cool the pressed flowers were! They seriously look like stickers or prints! Tickets are available on our website juneandjaneflower.com. We hope you’ll join us for this fun new flower activity with open-ended possibilities!

It’s been a very busy week here over at June and Jane! We spent the beginning of the week moving Ruby into her new home 🥰🏠, had the ,and we finished off the week/weekend freelancing for (our beautiful friend Hannah) at a stunning venue ( ) and finished our Sunday with a bouquet class at 🍷💐!

Finally sitting down to look at these stunning pictures of Katlyn’s bouquet from a couple weeks ago 🫠😍. Being a flower farmer and florist is a lot of hard and dirty work most of the time, but today it feels like a dream ✨. We absolutely love what we do!

(Except for bucket washing. We could do without that 😎)

Funny story…

Ruby and I have been trying to grow poppies for three years now. We’ve tried starting them, throwing seeds in the snow, all the things but had no luck. This year, we had a patch of land that was either ready to be tarped or planted. We decided to throw seeds in the patch right before the rain one day and see what happens. We call it our “hail Mary patch” 😅. Well, the weeds (clearly) took over with all this rain. But we started to see a little color peeking through the green and what do you know?! Poppies.

Poppies. Agrostemma. And cress. Are all growing underneath and completing with the 5 foot tall weeds. We know what will thrive here for next year!! 😎 Now we have a lot of work to do to clean our Hail Mary patch up! 😅

We’ve been doing a ton of DYI events for brides on the farm lately—and completely love it! DYI options aren’t just for bud vases, you can make your own bouquet too! Bailey did both, and killed her bridal bouquet! 💐

Yes, we are a flower farm and florist, but Ruby loves garlic. Like a lot. Like she named her cat after this beautiful crop. 🧄🐈 We want to try and use these scapes in some cool flower arrangements, but if not, they will definitely get put to good use on the farm with some pesto and butter! Happy garlic scape season everyone!

These two girls have been working on their own flower event on the farm this summer. Introducing the Kids Garden Party — a parent and child event on the flower farm where you’ll enjoy the flowers, have some yummy food, and pick and create your own bouquet or arrangement to take home. The class and tour will be led and planned by the girls and they’re already so excited! Tickets are limited so don’t wait too long to register for this super fun event (we’re told everyone also gets a friendship bracelet). The event is set for Saturday, July 20 and you can find tickets on juneandjaneflower.com under “Events and Markets” 🥰

It’s been so fun watching our brides use their creative skills, and putting their own touch into their wedding. We’ve had a couple of these events so far this year—and many more to come!

We had so much fun last night with Molly and her family and friends! Not only did they put together all their bud vases for Molly and Zach’s big day this Saturday, but they also made their own bridesmaids bouquets too!! It was so fun helping them learn each flower and watch them create their own style and vision! We love hosting these events for brides and their family—it adds such a beautiful and personal touch to the flowers for their big day! 💒 Tomorrow is going to be magical ✨

Mother’s Day this year feels so much crazier than in year’s past. We have a bunch of stunning tulips going out to (pictured!) and we’ll be sending out more amazing tulips for the Mother’s Day event at on Saturday! And then next week is the first week of spring subscriptions (yay!) and somehow trying to get plants in the ground lol. This time of year is insane but we’re loving that we can finally use our own flowers! Naturally we’ve realized we need to grow wayyyyy more tulips for next year 😅 but we’re thankful for growers like .flora who are generous and kind to newer growers and who grow stunning flowers when we come up short and need additional supply 💕 It feels great to keep everything local and support so many kickass women-owned businesses this week and weekend!
