Being completely mentally and physically drained but always showing up. Motherhood is not easy but it’s the most rewarding job there is.

When it comes to designing a wedding there is so much more that goes into it then just the color and variety's of flowers we will use ( don't get me wrong, this step is very important )

Let's take this photo for example. Not only was is important that we got the colors right we also had to figure out the perfect containers for the flowers, the color candlestick that would go best, taking into account the color and style glassware the bride chose, and the color napkin. Adding in the extra details of the lavender in the napkin, and scrunching the gauze just right underneath all these elements. And this was just for one portion of the wedding.

So when you hire a floral designer just know you are getting WAY more than just the flowers!

Welcome to my garden!

Today my garden is empty and covered by a blanket of snow, but soon it will be lush again!

Every year I look forward to all the new growth and beauty that comes at the beginning of the garden season. The beginning of wedding season feels a lot like that too! A waiting game, you have all your plans drawn out and are just waiting to pull the trigger and dig your hands in.

Starting a new business is tough...from going to guaranteed work and looking at a full and busy season on the books to a slow trickle of events coming in and having an abnormally slow summer ahead of you...but we will embrace it as I know it won't last. It will not be the norm. The busy hustle and bustle of being a wedding florist that I love so much will soon come again. So here's to a lush and beautiful garden and slow and steady wedding season ahead!

Well I thought it was time for a formal introduction!

It's me Haley! Owner and founder of Fern To Table, I run my small business out of my home in Clarendon VT where I live with my boyfriend, our 2 year old son Walker and our 2 dogs!

I have been working in the floral industry and specializing in weddings for the last 9 years! This will be my first year in business for myself and I am so excited for the upcoming events we have booked!

My most important (and favorite) job is being a mom to Walker, it is truly the best job in the world! And second, of course, is working with clients to create their dream event! I get the best of both worlds!

Aside from floral design I love gardening, thrifting, cooking and preserving food from the garden, hiking, and honestly just being home! ( I'm a wicked homebody )

I have so many big plans and dreams for this business and I hope you will follow along with me on this next chapter in my career!
