At 7:31 last night, I held my daughter as she delivered my 1st grand baby. And I am head over heals, completely in love with her.

Meet Josephine Sage 💛

The cutest, tiniest, little love bug to ever exist.

There are no words to properly describe the pride I am overcome with at how strong my baby girl was bringing her own into this world. What an experience, and I will forever be grateful that she had me there to be a part of it.

Can't wait to get you home, little peanut! Get ready for all the snuggles 🥰

This past weekend, we were back at the same venue, with some of the same vendors that we worked with on this wedding 6 years ago. This wedding (and couple!) were so memorable that it felt like it was just yesterday.

It was another reminder that I am so damn lucky to do what I do 🖤

8 years ago, we had our 1st camp wedding!

I instantly fell in love.

The energy is simply different. Everyone is more relaxed.

There is no rushing around. You have the ability to be flexible. You are able to create various gatherings throughout the weekend, allowing you to spend time catching up and making memories with all of your favorite people.

It truly is magical.

If your venue has limits on timing, think outside of the box for a way to host a welcome gathering or goodbye brunch as well. Time goes by so fast. You have this 1 chance to be surrounded by all of your favorite people, soak up every minute that you can. You won't regret it. I promise.

Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?? This is just another example of what happens when you have the perfect team of vendors who work together to make that wedding day magic happen.

Every time that we build a timeline, our 1st question is always to the photography team: "What time do you want them for golden hour, and how long do you want us to put aside for that?" From there, we move through how the rest of the day should flow. And this is why 😍

We receive hundreds of photos from the weddings that we have a part in. Each and every time, these are my favorite.

Being creative is all part of the job. This is an industry filled with amazing artists. Make sure you find the ones that can see your vision and make it happen. The teams that will stop at almost nothing to get it done. The ones that will carry tents and grills and generators over the river and through the woods to ensure that you can have your once in a lifetime woodland wedding. The ones that won't give up until they have exhausted every avenue possible looking for a solution.
