Well friends, we finished 2nd in the quarterfinal round therefore our race is over.

Pretty beat up over this one…

We finished 2nd in the quarterfinals friends. I think it was a very strong 2nd, but nonetheless this is where my race ends.

I’m pretty beat up over this and cannot thank each and everyone of you enough! You all are amazing!

It’s all up in the air now friends!

Thanks to Jameson Eige and numerous Sigma Nu brothers, we had a big push in the last minutes last night that had me back and forth between 1st and 2nd!

I’ll know results by 12 noon CST and will come on to let everyone know if we advance or if this is the end of the race for me.

Good morning friends!

Today is the day! I need to finish first in my quarterfinal group or my race is done!

I am truly wowed and humbled by the jump we made yesterday back into 2nd place! So many of you donated votes and so many free votes that I just couldn’t believe it! Words cannot express how grateful I am to all of you!

However today goes, I am proud of this road I have been on and that you all have been on with me! We’ll see what happens at 9pm tonight!

If you could take time today to keep voting and sharing, I’d greatly appreciate it! I really hate to keep asking, but this really does mean a lot to me to win this for my Mom!

Hey everyone, it’s Heather! I know it’s late, but if you’re still up and haven’t voted yet, please do! We are less than 24 hours until the end of this round and Rj is in SECOND place!! Good morning friends!

Hoping everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July and hope those of you getting to enjoy a long weekend have a great one!

We’ve got a tough round of voting going on in the Favorite Chef competition! We rallied to 1st place on Wednesday morning only to fall to 3rd by days end which is where we sit currently.

Hello and happy Sunday friends!

I’ve had a lot of people asking how many rounds we have to go yet to win the Favorite Chef Competition and the short answer is….3!

3 tough rounds as I need to win each round to advance and all the votes are reset each round and each round will be more difficult than the next!

Let’s push this thing and see how far we can get Chef RJ’s Pit Crew! We’re over half way and this is where the real race starts!

I’m seriously grateful and humbled to have made it this far and I hope that Mom and all of you are proud of how far we’ve come and how far we’ll go!

Advancing also affords me the opportunity to compete for the cooking experience with Chef Carla Hall in New York! (Maggie has already claimed the +1 spot for that!)

Our delicious 1/4lb ALL BEEF hot dog with siracha, honey and fresh jalapeños!

We all know her and we all love her…she’s fiery and a little sweet, so we named this one after our friend Marcia! 😉😘
