We just re waived a fresh shipment of Daffodils, tulips and p***y willows!!

We have ALWAYS taken back gently loved vases. We even did a vase drive for 1 month a while back. It was such a big hit that we decided to make it a permanent thing.

Beginning March 1st, we will be making a monetary donation to a different animal shelter each month for every clean, re usable vase, basket, or pot that we receive within that month. Please note, they must be re usable no chips, cracks, etc.. those won’t count!!!

The shelters/rescues we will gift are all local to our area! (NK, Exeter, EG, SK and the pet refuge) these will be done on a rotating basis with a different one each month!
So go digging in those basements, garages, sheds etc…

As far as we are concerned it’s a win/win.
The shelter pets will benefit, & it will help us to save money and give a new home to those gently loved containers!

We have been serving NK & the surrounding area since 1979!! Family owned and operated.

But Mother Nature had other plans and we obliged!!

Daffodils arrived this week and are a sure sign of spring!!

$5.00 for a bunch!! They are so bright and happy and will absolutely bring a bit of sunshine to your home!!

And just in case daffodils aren’t your thing…. We have gorgeous tulips and Iris as well!!

Be sure to call a local shop and not one of those middlemen such as 1-800 flowers, Ava’s, Ibuyflowers and others. They ALWAYS over promise and under deliver. Actually, they don’t deliver at all!!
They charge you a large service fee to call a local florist,( which you could do yourself)
So save yourself a headache and call a local shop directly!
We are at the shop from 9-5 or our website is open 24/7

Erring on the side of caution today. Not sending out any residential deliveries. Since the weathermen have said that road conditions will be deteriorating, I am making the call to keep my drivers safe. If you’re expecting a delivery to your home, please know that we will send yours out tomorrow once the roads are clear and it’s safe for the drivers.

What a day today is!
Did you know that today, January 29th is celebrated many different ways? No? Well let me tell you!!!
For my industry today is National Carnation Day.!!! 💮
One of the longest lasting flowers that grow in a variety of colors, and the scent… light, delicate with a hint of cloves.
They often get a bad rap because they are affordable so they are considered a “common” flower.
Well, don’t knock them until you’ve tried them. Petal by petal they are one of the most economical and beautiful flowers out there! (Think more bloom for your buck!)

Besides it being National Carnation Day,
it is also National, Curmudgeon Day,
National Corn Chip Day, National Free Thinkers Day AND it’s also Lunar New Year! Whew!
Who knew January 29th could be so busy? 🤷‍♀️ I didn’t!

So if you know someone who is celebrating being a curmudgeon 😖, a free thinker 🎓loves to eat corn chips 🌽 and is celebrating the Lunar New Year (it’s the year of the snake 🐍)
