We are enjoying some family time so will not be at this week's market but will plan to see you all for the final Farmers Market of the season on October 25th!

A huge heartfelt 💙 THANK YOU 💜 to everyone who dropped off donations for our Western North Carolina neighbors! All together, we gathered over 30 large bags full of clothing and many other necessities that will be sent to the affected area within the next several days, through the assistance of a NC-based church and a local non-profit. These donations are much needed as recovery efforts have begun throughout WNC and surrounding communities. What a great show of love and support as we all do what we can to help those affected by Hurricane Helene!

Remember, today we are collecting baby necessities (diapers, wipes, baby food) and gently-used clothing of all types and sizes that will be transported to Western North Carolina through a local non-profit (Wings of Hope BC) for those devastated by Hurricane Helene. So if you are coming to the market today, bring a bag of clean clothes or some baby items to add to the pile!

We are now carrying several great indoor and outdoor plants as well as many in cute planters as a kickoff to this Fall season! We are cash-only and will be here until 3pm today!

Two days until a very important "Farmer's Market Friday"...

We will be at the North Myrtle Beach, SC - Farmers Market this FRIDAY 10AM-3PM.

In addition to, of course, being here to offer you all the fixings for the 🍂 Fall garden or 🌿 indoor green space of your dreams, this week Tropical Nursery will also be collecting items to send to the devastated victims of Hurricane Helene in Western NC. 🤍 Collecting for the ever-compassionate non-profit Wings of Hope BC, we are looking for donations of clean, good condition, gently-worn clothing as well as baby necessities. For clothing, there is an urgent need for all types - men's, women's, children's - and in all sizes! (Including clean shirts, pants, hoodies, sweaters, shoes, socks and new underwear) Many people lost everything and recovery efforts will be ongoing so keep in mind the current weather and needs for these folks. For baby necessities, the priorities are diapers, wipes, and baby food.

I know there are several donation sites at various locations all around town so please help how and where you can! If you are able to bring a bag of clothing or baby items to the market, visit Tropical Nursery's booth and you will find a bin there to drop-off.

Take all necessary steps to prepare for this week's tropical storm and we hope to see you all in October for the next Farmer's Market Friday series in NMB!

Due to the projected strong winds from ⛈🌀Hurricane Helene🌀,⛈ the 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝘆𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 will be closed this Friday, September 27.

We will see everyone next Friday!
