After winding down from tonight’s game I have to say how proud I am of the Tyrrell’s Tents & Rentals LLC majors softball team. We have a great team of kids that won’t give up. Whether it’s Grace diving for the ball at third, or Abby pitching lights out for the last three inning, or Jayda catching the foul ball behind the plate for out number 3. We had kids playing in positions they don’t normally play and they did great. The Bats came alive and we got some timely hits. We also showed some very good patience at the plate and forced walks. Overall we played about as good of a game as we could in the heat and the fact that 85% of our kids being dead tired from being at Camp Fiver all day today. The biggest thing is that we guaranteed the at least one Sherburne Area Little league team will be in the Majors Softball championship. Three out of the Last 4 teams in Majors Softball playoffs are from Sherburne. That is something that our whole town should be proud of. Our softball program looks good now and for years to come.
Here is the GameChanger recap of the game.
