Summer Music Series at Fort Cody Trading Post We invite you to book a performance with us and help us to build North Platte’s live music scene.

Our philosophy is to offer artists en route to weekend gigs a place to play on an off-night, while receiving room and board, and a little monetary compensation. We continue the “en route” theme by bringing conveniently located entertainment to travelers on their way to their destinations. General Information
* Performances are scheduled every Thursday, 6pm to 9pm at the Fort Cody Trading Post, a l

ocal landmark located at the junction of Interstate 80 and Highway 83, in the midst of our cluster of restaurants and hotels.
* These are outdoor performances. In case of inclement weather, the performances will be moved to the Riverfront Terrace of the Ramada Inn and Suites/Sandhills Convention Center.
* If you need sound equipment to be provided for you, please send a spec sheet as soon as you are booked into the series.
* We will schedule local openers (who will play for tips). If you are providing your own sound equipment, these openers would need to use your sound equipment. Your performance will be 7pm to 9pm, approximately two 45 minute sets. What we need from you:
* Your website url, facebook url and/or myspace or other url
* An up-to-date bio and high res color picture (jpeg) of yourself for promotional purposes.
* Any other media that you feel is important or relative to your show, music or tour.
* Email address, telephone and postal mail address for our files
*Availability for local media interviews if possible
*Sound equipment spec sheet. Please mail promotional material to:

The last concert for the summer was last night. It's always a little bittersweet... but last night was definitely a lot more sweet with a great concert from Doug Rees, Ken Ken Keller, and Brendan MacNaughton. The weather ended up being perfect, too. Already looking forward to and planning for next summer!

North Platte Municipal Band plays tonight at Cody Park at 730pm and there's live music at Pegleg featuring James Burke, who will be playing at Fort Cody next week, and Saturday night there's the Fun Pianos show at Pals.

What an awesome night at the Fort Cody Trading Post and the Fort Cody Summer Music Series. Hosting the Music Performance Teams of the Nebraska National Guard was an honor and privilege. Thank you to an amazing crowd that came out to support them as well. Nights like tonight make it worth it.

On Thursday the Music Performance Teams of the 43rd Army Band will be at Fort Cody... but tonight at 7pm the full Concert band will be performing at Cody Park... or out at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds if the weather is inclement.
