We will not be overly concerned with counting calories or measuring portion sizes, we would like to think of the diet (healthy eating) in terms of color, variety, and freshness. We will focus on finding foods that our client's love with easy recipes that incorporate a few fresh ingredients. We will not overwhelm the client with strict healthy eating but show how they can incorporate the healthy eating into their everyday diet by not completely eliminating the foods they enjoy that are not so healthy. The goal is to show clients how eating healthy can be quite pleasurable and fulfilling but the long term goal will be to help them feel good, increase their energy , and reduce the risk of cancer and disease. Eating with other people has numerous social and emotional benefits and allows you to model healthy eating habits. If the client is at a Kitchen Party mingling and socializing, they will chew their food slowly allowing them to savor every bite. Sassi Catering will prepare meals that include green leafy vegetables, naturally sweet vegetables, and tasty fruit that will fill up on fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. Also incorporated in meals will be healthy carbs that are digested slowly, helping you feel full longer and keeping blood sugar and insulin levels stable. Sassi will incorporate healthy fats such as avocado or olive oil into meals prepared as well as different sources of protein and calcium.
