19 Years ago today I took a risk to open Sherwood Florist and to proudly serve my community with Floral and gift needs for every occasion. Through hard work, sacrifice, blood sweat and tears I have tried my hardest to keep a business going and growing, though ups and downs of the economy to pandemics, from mistakes to successes and the battle of technology vs. old ways. I have always given my whole heart to this business and I'm still trying everyday even though after 19 years it's getting harder not easier to keep a small business alive. Changes, trends and demands are happening faster then I keep up with most days with just 2 hands and a big heart. I love my customers who have supported me with all their Love, Patience and Understanding for all these years and I'm asking for that once again. As Valentine's Day approaches we will not doing the day of Valentines. We will be closed on Valentine's Day, Feb 14th. It is too much for me to manage such a high supply and demand holiday, and I will be taking some time off after Valentine's to regroup, rearrange, and redesign so that I can come back and continue to serve my Community with utmost care and service I have given all these years. I love what I do and I want to make you all proud to be a customer but some days as a business owner we need to remind ourselves to be proud of our own work and how far we've come to know it's all worth something even if it's a simple flower shop trying to make someone's day with a single flower. THANK YOU!!
