🎄🔔12 Days Until the Homecoming🔔🎄

With the event drawing near, we wanted to share with you a bit more about why we’re so excited for this event. Founded in 2016, Nate “Swanky” Frank created HampGrown alongside his friends and fellow musicians with the vision of giving Western Mass artists and creators a platform. Over the years, he directed numerous successful events in the Pioneer Valley until the COVID-19 pandemic hit. HampGrown events are not only a place to gather and have fun, but to be our authentic selves and form community with those looking for the same. Although he no longer occupies his physical form on this plane of existence, Nate’s legacy lives on in HampGrown, throughout the entire Hamp Fam. We will all continue to come together and work towards realizing his vision of having a true Western Mass arts & music co-op. We’re so proud to hold our first official event since 2019, and we know this will be the first of many more!

Greetings all,

Nate Frank made me an admin of this page back when he created this collective/organization, a role I wish I had taken more initiative in. Nate essentially single handedly made this collective a reality, and organized all the events we all have such great memories of.

Im sure many of you now know about Nate's passing.

Nate Frank, the father of HampGrown, made this organization because he believed in his friends, wanted to support the arts, and aimed to create a space to cultivate everybody's unique expression. He loved watching his friends flourish, and was deeply passionate about supporting the musicians all throughout the valley. He loved all of you, and genuinely wanted to see all his friends "make it". With his passing, I want you to all keep these goals of his in mind, and to orient yourselves towards mutual support, compassion, companionship, with a focus on helping all your loved ones find success, joy, and truth.

Nate was a visionary on many levels, from his event planning at all the HampGrown events to his company, Bay State Brims. He envisioned a future in which all local artists were supported and equipped to spread their unique truth, and actively took steps to make that a reality.

What sucks is that I know Nate would have been the perfect person to plan the perfect event to get everyone together in the fallout of this tragic news. He was always so good at bringing people together. Please continue to carry on his mission and hold him in your hearts forever.
