We are officially HALFWAY through Alex’s Visionary of the Year Campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), and the outpouring of support has been nothing short of incredible. 💜💛

To everyone who has donated, shared, and rallied behind Alex—THANK YOU!!! Your kindness and generosity are making a real impact, not just for Alex and his Cure Crew team’s efforts to raise money and awareness, but for so many families navigating the unimaginable. 😔

As his grandma, I couldn’t be prouder of Alex’s dedication to this cause. 😘 And I am so grateful for the work LLS does, especially in supporting families through every step of their cancer journey. You think about when a parent hears the words “your child has cancer”, nothing hits harder. 😫 But LLS is there—providing hope, support, guidance, and resources like Family Support Groups that help parents, siblings, and children find strength together. 💪

This Valentine’s Day my heart is full of love and pride for my all of my grandchildren, Caitlin, Alex, Sophie and Thomas. They are each unique and gifted, but above all, they lead with kindness and a heart for service.

A year ago, my daughter, Amanda launched her Visionary of the Year campaign with LLS to honor of her father, my ex husband. Today, I’m in awe as Alex, her son, carries that same torch forward in his own Student Visionary of the Year campaign, with his brother, Thomas by his side. Their passion and determination inspire me, just as your support did last year for Amanda’s campaign.

This Valentine’s Day, my wish is for love, action, and impact. Let’s honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and stand behind Alex and his team working for change. Today marks the kickoff of my grandson, Alex’s LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, and as a grandma, I couldn’t be prouder. Alex is dedicating this effort to his grandfather, my ex husband, who he lost to lymphoma when he was just 6 years old, and to all those who have fought or are currently fighting blood cancers.

I’m deeply moved by Alex’s passion and determination to make a difference in the fight against these diseases. This campaign is not just about raising funds but also about raising hope for a future without blood cancer.
