I am kind of dying over here looking back at the past 2 years and how much my kiddos have grown. I am lucky to be their mom and don't want to forget how much I LOVE this stage. Looking at these pictures helps me see how quickly they are growing up and helps me get through the long days with more love and patience.

We started this session off at this families home then went to a nearby park. I love that we captured family traditions and some of the special moments they share as a family. I also love how they incorporated some special objects (blanket) into the session. I couldn't pick just one to share so here are not just one or two sneak peeks but three.

When I recieved my first dslr almost 10 years ago I was overwhelmed but so excited. A year later I started project 365 (a picture a day for a year). That project taught me so much and really drove my passion for photography. I have stopped using my "big" camera and really miss the creative outlet and quality photos. It's just to easy to use my phone camera or not document all together. Project 122 is a goal I have set for myself to take a picture everyday (starting tomorrow) until the end of the year.

Has it really been 2 years since I last posted to this page? No wonder the last few clients have asked if "I am still doing photography?" 😂 I kinda got off the social media bandwagon a few years ago but am happy to say I am still here! I am excited to launch my new website soon and provide my clients with a more user friendly platform and showcase some recent work.

Iv'e spent my Monday morning thinking about the many people who have influenced me for good and helped me throughout my life. I've specifically thought a lot about the help I have received through the journey of motherhood. I have truly been blessed and am grateful for those who have invested time in me and my family. Mothering is one of the hardest things that I have ever done but also the most rewarding.

These are a few photos from this time last year. All of these ladies are amazing mothers and friends!

To women everywhere Happy Mothers Day week and thank you for encouraging, teaching and loving not only your own children but those around you.
