Run, push, roll as fast as you can to our studios this weekend!

Join us this Saturday and perform onstage at the new Performing Arts Center March 23-25. The dance department faculty can’t wait to watch and support your dancing this Saturday!

Few tips to help you get ready for our audition:
1) Complete the digital audition form linked in bio BEFORE arriving at the Dance Studio Building for the audition

2) Wear comfortable dance/gym attire that you can move freely and safely in (no jeans, jewelry or street shoes allowed)

3) Bring water and be sure to eat before dancing!

4) Make sure you have no holds on your account so that you could be enrolled in any necessary concert production class(es) to cover your concert participation (be sure to have enough units in your load, too!)

5) Visit the Dance Studio Building on Tuesday, Jan. 17th, to check the cast lists posted on the hallway bulletin board to see which piece(s) you’ve been casted in.

6) Make sure to initial next to your name for the dance piece(s) you want to perform and attend the first day of rehearsal to confirm participation (rehearsal times listed on cast sheets)

Presented by the Cerritos College Dance Department and ASCC, the Fall 2022 Formal Dance Concert will take place November 17-19, 2022 at 8pm.
A diverse range of styles will be presented including Latin, Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, African, Ballet, and Contemporary with choreography by faculty and students and performances by our students and professional live musicians!

‼️AUDITION ALERT 🚨

Students seeking admission into the Dance Program at CSUF for Spring 2023! Auditions will be held on campus Tuesday, September 13th with the following schedule:

9-10:40AM - Modern Dance with Professor Lisa Long
11:00-11:30 – Meet with Dance Program Director
1-2:40PM – Ballet II with Professor Tim Lynch

Be sure to complete all necessary application paperwork and registration before the audition! Speak with a counselor today for any questions you may have!
