Hey friends❤️
I'm reintroducing myself, maybe you've seen me painting faces around the island?
I was at Whidbey Ren Faire , I'm always at Whidbey Farm and Market , I've painted at Jupiter Coffee , Langley Lights the Night , Oak Harbor Music Festival , Greenbank Farm , Penn Cove Musselfest and Sedro-Woolley Rodeo PRCA .... Not to mention all the fun birthday parties I've been at😉

I'm an award winning face painter of 15 years with an associates in fine arts and early childhood development. I worked in preschool for 13 years and just adore giving your children an amazing experience ❤️

I'm booking up my summer calendar and events are contacting me, I wanted to make sure I also book some birthday parties because I love to make someone's special day even more colorful!

I tried out a new dragon design before it got too busy...

What an incredible crowd! While I always love when I see happy kids, I'm ALWAYS impressed when two adults hop in my chair and ask for full face wild cats!
I'm feeling so happy to be part of this community of happy people❤️

As long as these two can remember, I've been face painting. I picked it up when they were really young and I needed added income as a single mother. My dearest friend Karen Mercer of Fairy dust faces, taught me the ropes, set me up with clients and ultimately mentored me until she moved away, leaving the area and client list she had built. From there I started Clementine The Amazing and built an amazing face paint empire over the past 15 years.
I had moved to Washington in 2021 and ultimately decided to continue to book a couple artists, who I trusted at the time, to continue to offer them jobs and service all my loving clients. End of last year those artists decided to move away from my business, so I assumed I would no longer have the tie to the Northern California area. I was heart broken at an end of an era.
When asked to find an artist for a dear friend's school spring fair and I was unable, my daughter Jovie, decided to step in, and it created so much happiness!
Jovie has attended art school from kindergarten on, selling her artwork in art shows, excelled in track and cross country, and it's currently a preschool teacher in Petaluma. She's always loved children and art and I KNOW she'll love face painting too!!!
While she learns the ins and outs of face painting at parties, we're offering a discounted rate of $200 for a premium party package, an $85 discount 😱

Clementine The Amazing's daughter Jovie will be taking over the area and able to book parties this summer!!! If you think Clementine has talent, you haven't seen nothing yet! Jovie is an amazing artist who has a weekday job as a preschool teacher, literally following in her mother's footsteps, but better!

What a fantastic time I had today in the sun 🌞 at Whidbey Farm and Market !
Come out tomorrow and see all the awesome animals, bounce in the bounce house, race rubber ducks, hunt for eggs, make giant bubbles, build hop houses, and get your photo with the Easter Bunny!
I'll be set up for face painting 11-3 Easter Sunday

I was too busy to get any photos this weekend at Penn Cove Musselfest so I got this single photo of my son's hands! 😂

Announcement time!!!
It's with a heavy heart that at this time, starting the beginning of this year, I will no longer be servicing Sonoma county, or any other area in California.
It's been really difficult to work long distance with my artists. I thought it was working and I was helping my favorite clients who have built me up and supported my business for over a decade! I thought I was helping connect my artists with my clients.
I thought wrong I suppose 😞
During the pandemic many artists moved away, found other jobs in order to provide for their families and I moved my family to Washington State, on the sweet little Whidbey Island. Relocating was the only way to be able to survive the economy without the business I had built for a decade prior to the pandemic.
It's been a difficult ride and I thought I had left the artist side of the business in capable hands.
I no longer have any one I trust to refer clients to in the area❤️ many other artists outside my business have either retired or moved away like me.
I'm thrilled to have had the community in California for so long and worked so hard to connect with and be a giving member of that community. I made life long friendships and hope to stay connected!
My new chapter is on Whidbey Island 🏝️ where I've started to build another wonderful community and feel like I fit right in!
I appreciate every single client who has been there for me and helped promote my business through the years.
I love you all❤️
If you're on Whidbey, I'm here to stay and will be applying to more amazing public events to see you all at!!!
