The Curious Travelers are beyond excited to announce the official opening of the one and ONLY ⛪️Wayside Chapel⛪️, and 24 hour Officiant Service to our area.

We also house an adjoining gift shop with custom wedding and party keepsakes, designed and printed on site.

In addition to our quaint venue, we also offer a travel service that covers the state of Ohio!

On a recent trip foraging through Ohio’s Mohican River, around the Knox and Holmes County area, of Ohio, we were blessed to meet Lobelia siphilitica running wild through the edge of the river way. We grabbed our trusy, rusty coffee can, made sure to thank her flower family, and gently transplanted to bring home to our raised bed. We hope to add more native pollinators and continue to learn about the best plants for the area we spend most of our days in💙

Lobelia siphilitica, the great blue lobelia, great lobelia, or blue cardinal flower, is a plant species within the family Campanulaceae. It is an herbaceous perennial dicot native to eastern and central Canada and United States.

Today it was shopping in the coop and the deep freeze for smoothie parts for ”free snacks” lol, and processing our organic Mallow (Malva sylvestris). We have painstakingly processed the seeds to package and the winter teas to blend. Brrr…can you feel the chill 🍂🍁
