Dear noble woman,

I hope you were able to rest in the loving presence of Jesus yesterday. Whether you were enjoying your Mother’s Day in abundance with children, celebrating in remembrance of a mother, or grieving those unfulfilled heart’s desires - this one is for you.

Yesterday, the bible app verse-of-the day spoke to me and I believe whole-heartedly that it will speak to you.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!” - Luke 1:45

In Luke 1:39-56; Mary visits her relative, Elizabeth. As she greeted Elizabeth with this overwhelming joy - her joy came from a promise that she received from the Lord. This promise had yet to come, but she believed and received it. Mary’s greeting to Elizabeth came across with such a blessed assurance that the child within Elizabeth leaped with joy.

The takeaway:
We don’t have to understand completely what the Lord is doing or what the plans may be, but we can remain hopeful continually in those desires that He places in our hearts and walk daily towards and into that promise. It is in His continual presence that we receive this joy and hope for the future. This blessed assurance of what is to come.

You might be struggling with conceiving (Read 1 Samuel 1:27-28).

You may be devastated that your marriage ended in divorce and those hopes and dreams you received as a promise from the Lord did not come to pass.

You are being abused and fleeing from a place you once called home to find a safe shelter. Sister, flee and find rest in the arms of Jesus.
“Fight this battle on your knees. He hears you. Remember that God is bigger. You have a story and in time… you will tell!”

You are praying for a husband and have waited patiently on the Lord to reveal if this is His will for your life. (Remember that love is patient and love is kind - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

You are struggling financially and no matter how much you work, you cannot seem to make ends meet.
“Fight this battle on your knees. He hears you. Remember that God is bigger. You have a story and in time… you will tell!”

The cancer has spread. It’s terminal and the doctor says nothing more that could possibly be done.
“Fight this battle on your knees. He hears you. Remember that God is bigger. You have a story and in time… you will tell!”

Whatever may be hurting you today, remember that regardless of the outcome … God sent His Son to us so that we can experience true love and that we may know what it feels like to dwell in the presence of Almighty in the midst of our trials and find joy.

To all those unspoken and unanswered prayers, I pray that tonight you find rest. I pray that tomorrow morning, your joy is overflowing and that you may walk in spirit and in truth. Lift your hands and turn them towards heaven. Give it to Jesus. Trust and believe that He will fulfill what He has promised.

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! We wanted to bring some exciting news to our locals here in the Oak Island/Southport area. As many of you know, Crossroads Gathering Place opened up this past March and has become a wonderful vessel of a place for participating local small businesses to thrive as they bring their many talents to the table. If you haven’t had a chance, we encourage you to go in and check it out! So, the news?

Noble and Anchor is one of the vendor’s located inside of Crossroads Gathering Place. N&A is a bridal, handmade gift, and apparel boutique that desires for young women to discover and know their self-worth through the eyes of Jesus. From discovering her purpose to helping bring her vision to life as she steps into her new role as the noble wife. Not only young women, but women of all ages as well. Whatever season of life, you are welcome and our doors are wide open.

The hope and vision for Noble and Anchor at Crossroads Gathering Place is to bring gently used bridal gowns at an affordable cost to our community. We believe bridal gowns serve more purpose than for just one day. One’s outcome of the previous owner also does not define the value of the dress - the connection the bride makes “here and now” with that dress alone is her own, personal story and vision. If you find it on your heart to donate your used gown or special occasion dress to this up and coming bridal shop, you can drop it off at Crossroads Gathering Place - 128 Country Club Dr. Oak Island, NC. 28465. We will be sure to clean it up and bring it back to life for the next special noble woman. Be assured that you will certainly become a tremendous driving source to our community of women who aspire to tie the knot on a budget possible. So, what if the dress had been altered? That’s okay! Because to someone out there, it will be the dress that fits just right and “the one” she’s been searching for. The overall vision and future is bright and we pray that our small business impacts our community of women and generations to come through positive, uplifting experiences and pieces that we offer - all underneath our shelter of a home we call our “Crossroad’s Gathering Place” - a point where two roads meet and important choices are made. Forever, lives can change for the better.

Here's to a few more exciting announcements about Noble and Anchor - we also cater to the destination bride and her vision of the perfect headpiece, with our specialty being the boho/beach style headpieces that tie around the crown of the head. The veils and jewelry that Noble and Anchor carries are brand new. If we happen to have used veils that come in, this will be identifiable by the tag’s label. We offer brand new accessories as well as “handmade” accessories. It’s important to state that not every single piece of jewelry is handmade by N&A, but what is handmade by N&A will be easily identified by the special pink label that says Noble and Anchor’s “Dearly Beloved” collection.

Our community is special. We come together in times of hardship and always come out strong. We truly believe there’s something extraordinarily remarkable about our area on the southeastern coast. We want to honor our veterans, active military, law enforcement, and firefighters by offering 25% off any bridal gowns. This may be our bride and/or bride’s future spouse whom is considered veteran/active military member/law enforcement/or firefighter. Thank you for all that you do for our country and our community.
